Where does customer service go once you have paid for the items???
We paid in full at time of purchase and was told a delivery date
The day before I called carpet right guildford to ask when the fitters would arrive - I would have been happy with an AM or PM estimate, on the car pet right website this is what I was advised to do.

On the 11th September I went in to find out a delivery date and was told none in stock and didn’t have any idea of when it would be in!! The gentleman took my phone number and said he would call me today or tomorrow and find out what’s going on.

I tried to complain and It took two complaint forms 3 emails and a 40 minute phone call in which apparently I was first in the queue (I gave up and put the phone down) finally got a reply via email saying that dates given were provisional even though I have an email confirming delivery date and the manager in the Wolverhampton shop told me she would let me know if the fitting date changes for any reason (she didnt).

Failed fitting caused big problems for me, the store made no attempt to contact me and when I did get through to them after many attempts said that I had to call them again in a few days to rearrange delivery.

We informed Carpetright, that faults can become evident after delivery and installation of a product and therefore, asked Carpetright to replace the carpet or refund us our money; we were still within our 30 day legal rights for defects.

first they had the wrong colour carpet, managed to change that before delivery, then took 3 days holiday so the day before could move everything out, put my life in boxes, then have it fitted then clear up, but no they didnt deliver on the day, and cant do it for another 3 weeks, was supposed to be having guests coming, and a new bed, so currently sleeping on the floor surrounded by boxes, wont give a refund as said the carpet has been cut.
