Ordered phone online. Used debit card. Card found to be unacceptable by carphone warehouse. So I cancelled order. Then they took money from bank !!!!!! ( I see some others on here have had a similar experience. ) I am having a lot of trouble trying to get my money back. £119.99. It may not be a lot to some but I'm 71 and not that well off !!! I'm disgusted with hopeless customer services, based in South Africa !!!>

Went in store to Weymouth, served by Chris, he was absolutely first class, phone selected, all info transfered from old phone to new, and he was dealing with other customers as well. Just dont understand how he could cope with so much at once. So thanks CPW, and moreover thanks to Chris. Will be back to swap the other phone soon. Thank you very much.

The customer service is soo bad.... They make a mistake and yet they don't apologize and are so rude.. They guys name was jit and from the Kingsbury store I would never again shop from a carphone warehouse

Lied to get a sale ! Cpw Tewkesbury road Cheltenham. I wanted to buy a phone for my elderly Father , I took him to the store to check he could use the phone . They were unable to do do an in-house demonstration of the phone saying try it at home if you don't like it you can bring it back within 14 days .Well my elderly dad can't use the phone ...And they will not allow the phone to me returned . LIARS . The Ombudsman will be informed.

We renewed our contract with Vodafone through carphone warehouse who made an mistake in the description of our contract. They refuse to acknowledge responsibility and the manager Gordon Alexander in the Leith Ocean Terminal store was incredibly abusive and defensive. He is willing to lie through his teeth to cover their mistakes. We did this five days ago and have still not received the contract, which I believe has to be emailed within 48 hours. I visited CAB for advice, but Mr Alexander stated that it's his company policy that matters and the law and CAB mean nothing.

Bought blackberry passport online promised next day delivery. No email despatch information, telephoned 4 times over 3 days on premium number. Got same story every time. 'Your item has now been released for picking, it will be with you tomorrow!' Last guy I spoke to told me I could expect delivery on 9th April, i.e. yesterday! (I rang on the 10th) Don't mind waiting for anything, as long as this is known up front. This company are obviously doing the usual and selling products they don't have, so it is vapourware. I now have to wait 5 days to see if the refund I've insisted upon arrives back on my credit card You have been warned!

I ordered a phone, they took my payment and declined my order. - Due to a fraud issue i had another month i assumed it was that i ordered again within 2 hours after being prompted (if declined try again after 10 mins) so i did. First order being cancelled and second with outstanding balance bouncing between phone calls to my bank and carphone warehouse both claiming they don't have it. I'm bloody gonna believe it when the bank says they dont have it. So they've took my payment for an order they have canceled claiming it was declined and have another order open with outstanding balance which they're claiming i haven't paid. If i don't get my money back, or what i purchased, they're going to court - end of.

Trying to purchase phone on line. Told via email within 2 days will be able to pick up phone. Email to contact customer service which we did twice. Still no idea if and when it will be delivered despite being told they would email us wit update. Poor England Dh spoken by call centre. Absolutely terrible service.

I purchased a so called life time guarantee iphone screen protecter from carphone warehouse at junction 27 birstall and was given the usual hard sale crap that they normally do so after been talked into it I purchased it. The screen cover lasted the total of 2 months and started to come off so I took it back to carphone warehouse and asked for it replacing the customer service was total disgusting they was excuse after excuse as to why they couldn't replace the screen protecter even though I was told when I bought it that any problems and it would be replaced free of charge this is not the case DONOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!! They are all nice until they have got a sale then when they is a problem they don't want to no. Disgust ing

Iv recently bought a new phone from carphone wearhouse swansea and i had brilliant service from the team. They were very helpfull as i wasnt sure what phone i wanted to get and iv ended up with the perfect phone for me because of their help :) They answered all my questions well and the service i had was 100%. Very freindly too. Very happy customer. Will shop with them in the fuchure.

Before buying a new phone, I called to confirm I could keep my number. I then called 3 times to make sure my number would transfer to my new phone/contract. First three times I was told "it'll be fine, it just takes time". When it still hadn't happened, I called again, only to be told that it would not be fine and I could not keep my number. At which point I am locked into a 24 month contract. No apologies, just annoyance at my frustration.

Absolutely rubbish customer service. Yesterday carphone warehouse call me and offered me a new contract which I accept. Then took my personal and bank details for credit check and told me will call later. Wait all day no one call me then next day I call them and been promised to be in touch soon but no one called. I called them again and ask for manager but I been told that even if I talk to manager he won't be able to help me.

Ringing carphone warehouse online services is shot as I have been on the phone to them twice today and each bloody time I go all through what I want they say I just put you through to customer services and I am in a queue waiting for a few minutes and then they cut me off ???? so damn annoying ????

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Terrible customer service. The store manager (seamer road, scarborough) was not only rude, but dishonest having lied to my father (who did not know any better) and myself (who did). Having tried to contact them to solve the issues they were uncooperative and took hours/weeks to resolve.

One of Wandsworth Southside Carphone's staff, (girl, called Br...) was very rude, very unhelpful. the whole service was misleading I had to return the phone. They forgot to mention I will receive a sim card (that I never asked for and it was a completely different network). On returning the phone that credit just vanishes as the value on it non refundable. I was not able to keep the sim card. The girl handling the situation was awful. then she went to the back when I caught her saying something like 'bitch' to her manager. It is her luck I was in a rush but I wanted to report the whole thing. Very bad service, I will never go to a Carphone Warehouse again.

Awful support, advised the wrong network,now have 2 g previously 3G. Never deal with the complaint always fobbed off still waiting on a letter of deadlock after 2 months I would not recommend this company to anyone

My contract came to an end last June and i choose to take on another contract phone arrived no sim. It was contracted with EE and I have bashed my head against a brick wall trying to get a sim and the contract unbarred. Both EE and Carphone warehouse are blaming each other and ten months on paying £43.00 a month, I still have no contract, I am outraged by the lies and the continuous comments of 'leave it with me.' I have three other contracts with them with no issues, how can one be so difficult. I am still waiting for an answer to this problem. Please people be aware, there is no customer service regarding complaints.

Had me go through the whole rigmarole in store of setting up a contract after I'd already ordered online (having opted for Click and Collect), under the false pretences of getting 'a better deal' (tbh I'm not too fussed on deals and hadn't really checked what was included when I ordered it)... to check just now and find there was no difference. Basically my lunch hour was wasted so they could get some commission.
