“Very competitive and easy to use. Only comment relates to the insurance facility to cover the Rental Companies Excess. There is no doubt that the facility offered on the Carrentals site is far more competitive than taking it direct with the Car Hire Company but it is still cheaper to arrange on your own. I obtained annual cover via the AA for less than Carrentals wanted for the 10 day hire.”

“It was easy to book and pay for the car. It was equally easy to sort out insurance. I am a bit disconcerted, though, that they want not only my driver's licence and my passport (both reasonable) but also a bank statement for the card I use and a utility bill dated within 8 weeks and in hard copy. I don't get any bills in hard copy and haven't decided which card to use! Not absolutely happy about that”
