Ordered €80 worth of items before cut off date for guaranteed UK Christmas delivery. 2 days before Christmas Day, still no sign so checked the tracker…”your parcel has arrived in the US”… erm what?! Got onto customer service where they confirmed my address is definitely listed as UK. So they told me they would resend it all. Another 3 weeks later, only 1 of the 8 items showed up!! Have now asked they refund me as it’s a waste of time me chasing it at this point. They haven’t even tried to explain why they only resent 1 of the things on my order. First and last time I’ll ever use this site. What a mess!

Very disappointing service. My order showed up with an item missing and a wrong item in the box also. When I rang to query this, I was told that both items were out of stock, even though I had receive a no correspondence to notify me of this. The package took over a week to get to me and in that time, I never received an email to let me know of the out of stock items. This was also in the weeks leading up to Christmas and all the items were gifts. The refund was not processed until weeks after I had received the package without the item. Another item was just completely wrong and when I queried this, I was told the item I originally ordered was out of stock everywhere so they just decided to put in a different item instead. I’m not sure what was the thinking behind this- if they were hoping it would go unnoticed, I don’t know. I was disappointed regardless as I have very limited mobility at the moment, so I couldn’t return the wrong item to the store. On top of this, Carroll’s announced they had a sale on recently. A friend of mine sent me a link of two items in the sale, advertised as in stock on the website- the two items I never received. Very confusing how they could be selling off two items in the sale, that are apparently out of stock in all stores and online? Very confusing and disappointing service overall. Would not be placing an order with them again.

Drum received was different from the drum in the image. Ordered this one in particular because of nice crossbrace. The one received has just one spindly brace which makes drum impossible to hold and play. Completely useless drum, waste of money,!

Ordered my gifts on 14th December on line I’m living in cork and they where delivered with in two days it was my first time ordering with Carroll’s but would highly recommend them fantastic service will definitely use them again thanks Carroll’s

I have ordered off Carrolls a few times, never had an issue, but there was a few issues with this order and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired

Sweater itself was great. Shipping was more expensive and took much longer than anything else I ordered over the holiday season so that part was a disappointment.

Ordered 4 items as Christmas presents. Order goes through, money leaves my account. When parcel arrives it only contains 2 items and when I email to inquire I was told that the other items were out of stock and I would be refunded. Items being out of stock even though a website says it's available is fine, and happens from time to time. But surely that was noticed when packing the order and an email could have been sent with my money refunded. It should not be on the customer to chase these things down. Very disappointing experience and makes me unlikely to use your company again. The reason it's a 2 star review instead of a 1, is that the items that did arrive were of a good quality and the person who processed my refund after inquiring did so efficiently and was apologetic

My hamper wasn’t delivered until December 29 by which time my son was left Spain. Your staff member lied to me when I called on dec 28 and said the gift was attempted to be delivered before Christmas when in fact the courier said it didn’t arrive in Spain until December 28. So I’m not happy and won’t use the service again. Neither will I recommend. Kay enright

I’m still waiting for a refund, haven’t gotten a response from your customer service I messaged on 15th of December for a refund, it is now 5th Jan still waiting… You email me with an email address that I can’t reply to, says no reply Asking what refund is for. Refund was for I cancelled the order as wrong delivery address was on my order. So I didn’t get order. I called your customer service they tell me it was refunded on 15th December, I never got this money back and they said they’d call me back and no call! Sick of chasing you for my refund 😞 Please sort

Apart from a delay in acknowledgement of the order (possibly due to Christmas time or the fact I paid by PayPal), the order was swift, packaged nice and safely and would recommend.
