Very disappointed with condition of the car was needing a proper valet inside and out, I have had to book it in to get it detailed, the staff member Ross who helped me through the hole process was very obliging couldn't fault him, I had to go back as the parcel shelf was missing.

Viewed vehicle online in February 2021, went to store and was greeted by Robert Stirling. He retrieved the vehicle and we were given the opportunity to test drive (was unsure what the rules were due to Covid but were delighted that we could take the car a drive) Knew instantly it was the one we were after and Robert made the process as easy as possible, everything was done and dusted and we were able to pick the car up in the next few days. Slight problem with the windscreen which we voiced immediately. Again cannot fault Robert for his professionalism in dealing with this matter and feel he went above and beyond in keeping me informed and up to date with how things were going at his end. Overall, I would recommend and wouldn't hesitate in asking for Roberts assistance again in the future.

We were looking for a second car and went to Peter vardy with a budget in mind. We spoke to sales rep Chris Boyd who matched us up with the perfect car. Everything was smooth and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful. 5 stars, would recommend. Thanks again.

I picked my car up on Saturday 3rd April, it wasn't until I got home that I noticed the service light was on. I contacted the store on Monday and was told that they would phone back, they didn't, so phoned again on Tuesday and was told someone from the service department would phone me back, I'm still waiting. Very poor after sales service just like the rest of the big car dealers, once they have your money their not interested.

The car purchase was made worse with the Covid restrictions but it should not have made it as bad as the actual sales, handover and after sales took to respond to numerous telephone calls that did not get dealt with or were told that I would bet a call back which did not happen. The sale of the car has taken nearly 4 weeks since I expressed interest. The people involved all appeared to be helpful but it was very hard to get information as to where the car was and how long before handover. I was not given a test drive and there was no spare tyre, jack or puncture repair kit with nothing outlined at the handover. I was disappointed with the service and have allocated a poor rating. Great service from all staff, in particular, salesman and initial contact Andrew Brodie. Good quality video in lieu of visit to showroom ( almost as good), quick and knowledgeable service putting me onto vehicle most suited to my needs rather than “today’s special”. This is my second time as a customer and I will be back. Would have been a 5 in pre- COVID times as I could have browsed full showroom

Bought a 70 plate 19K Astra. Part of the car sale deal was the offer of a 6 night hotel voucher. 2 months on we have still not received the voucher. Called Peter Vardy 5 x times and was told we would be called back - still waiting! Each time someone different promises a call back but never does. The transition of the car sale was smooth enough but the aftersales promises lack major customer service and satisfaction.

Bit rushed when we got the car. Had not been cleaned properly we got keys. We paid for a protective coating for car that was meant to come with cleaning kit, we never got the kit. Salesman (Craig) was helpful and informative but not impressed with the handover of the car. This would discourage me from using Car Store again

Very poor service once fiancé was done no communication, received car with a lot of issues. No parcel shelf no lock nut no handbook. Car was never cleaned and when handed over to me from driver was not wiped down and due to the COVID, I called the same day told someone would call me never did called again yesterday and manage r called and said he would look into this still waiting to hear back, I have to put car in for a valet as I don’t want to drive it,

Horrific service car arrives filthy/inside is disgusting. Most stressful month I have ever had. To finish off with a car I refuse to drive & get into. With Covid you would expect a pristine car to arrive. Very upsetting & feel like I’ve been treated terribly. The Glasgow branch manager Steve was full of empty delivery dates. Could never rerun a simple phone call Will be sending in a formal complaint

I was really disappointed in the service of hand over team when collecting my vehicle. The car had not been cleaned, previous owners personal belongings left in car, key with no battery, window wipers not being replaced despite this being something that was told would happen. After buying a car for over £13,000 with you I would at the very least expect the car to have been washed/valeted, not to mention having said work carried out before I picked the car up!

Lack of communication/lack of information.I have purchased 5 cars from Peter Vardy but this will be my last as the whole experience was a nightmare from start to finish. I will not be recommending this as a good place to buy a car.

Dealt with Chris Boyd at Glasgow branch and he was brilliant with me. Knew exactly what I wanted and when it looked as if I might not be able to get it he went above and beyond to search for it from the other branches and managed to find the exact car I wanted. Overall the experience with Peter Vardy was very good and I’m very happy with the outcome.
