“where to start found a car online in Dundee ... made an appointment with Glasgow branch and sorted out a deal as long as the car was ok and left a deposit ... so far so good then waited 8 days for the car to be brought down from Dundee (not the best as its only 1.5 hrs away) went to see it and was hurried around it in 5 mins then had to phone back the next day to sort a test drive ... all was ok then went to pick the car up and was told i had to pay £99 administration fee and £40 for fuel when i questioned this as i wasn't told of it beforehand i was asked if i was giver a print out previously detailing all the figures but nothing was given to me at this time but luckily enough i had enough money in my account to over come this then when i picked the car up i went home and gave the car a quick check over and fount there was no sd card in the sat nav and the (big thing) the rear discs on the car where badly scored and the rear pads are around 1mm left on them if this car went through a 114 point check this should have been one of the major things to be checked i would have thaught and leads me to wonder what else they could have missed and just to top it all off i never received the v5 or an mot cert with the car (have received the sd card for the car now} look forward to your response keith perkins”

“We had a nightmare with Arnold Clark buying my sons first car, just 2 weeks prior to our purchase from you. The salesman we dealt with, not only helped us with a car, he helped us with what each car we looked at & which insurance bracket it would fall in. So due to his time & effort, my son got a car he hadn't dreamed he could get for his first car. He kept us updated throughout the whole journey, which was a breath of fresh air, after our recent experience with the other dealership. This guy is an absolute ambassador for your company, he also filled us in on a bit of history of Peter Vardy too. Fabulous experience & we won't be going anywhere else for our cars from here on in, I've also shared our experience with friends & family”

“Pumping music an ice cream truck and a slick online chat experience mark this out as not a typical car showroom. Helpful staff, that help you make choices, quickly get you a test drive and keep everything on the deal clear and simple. It's the way buying a car should be amd they are keen on price as well. Did I mention there was free ice cream?”

“Sales experience was excellent But hand over procedure was diabolical. The preparations had not been completed. Too many departments not communicating with each other And the customer left sitting around for 1 f a half hour with no one attending or advising what was going on”
