This review is based on my service with car sales man Ryan only. After sales hasnt been a good experience at all. Ryan was introduced to us when we first arrived, we had a look around ryan helped us narrow down what it was I wanted. I find it tough to make the right decision and he guided me through that well. After a few visits, a few cars, and a test drive we finally made a decision, Ryan really did do his best to find me the right car for the right price.

Car store itself is a fantastic facility. Loads of choice. Helpful friendly staff. During these testing times is well set out and clear instructions are visible for all to see. Salesman, mine in particular Chris Mitchell was first class. Found the ideal car for me with 15 mins of speaking. That’s about as good as the service got from Peter Vardy. My car arrived and I was invited to come and see it which I did. I was more than happy with the car. A few items on the bodywork were pointed out which I was assured would be repaired. The alloy wheels were pretty rough and was told they would be sent away to be refurbished. Interior of the car was clean. Car mats were in the boot and all functions of the car were operational. Fast forward a week to the day of collection and I was horrified by what I discovered. My car was presented to me. Alloy wheels glowing having been refurbished. It appears that’s all that was done to my car. The points on the bodywork that were going to be repaired by the onsite body shop were hardly looked at. The chips on the rear bumper had not been repaired properly. I ran my finger over the bumper and the filler that had been used came off. 2 marks on the drivers door are still apparent as ever and have not been touched. And this was all found in poor lighting. To my horror the worst part that I found at the time was a bulge on the outside wall of the front near side tyre. This was missed by the MOT tester, whoever carried out the PDI check and the car valeter as the wheels had all been dressed. This I am sure you are aware is a road traffic construction and use offence which had I not observed could of resulted in 3 points and £100 fine minimum. The tyre was changed for a tyre that was lying around. The car now has different rated tyres all over the place. Having now had time to inspect the car closely my grumbling list has got bigger. This will be dealt with by way of complaint to Peter Vardy.

Was attended to by Darren, prior to arrival Dareen had sent a short video introducing himself and a short video showing the type of car I had expressed an interest in. During my consultation with Darren in store I found him very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, there was no pressure to buy any vehicle, prior to the test drive, Darren showed me the working of the car highlighting the advantages of the chosen vehicle. Excellent level of customer service received by Darren, I believe he is an asset to his team.

When I first purchased the car the salesman and other staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. My salesman Mark Dyer was very good at dealing with us by helping us decide on a car that was perfect for us. He definitely went the extra mile. Unfortunately I had two small issues after I purchased the car. The oil life was at 21% remaining and the front splitter was missing from one side which took me 2 extra journeys to and from the carstore on the same day meaning I wasted a lot of fuel. As I said above the staff from the front entrance and the salesman were amazing but sadly the same can’t be said for the aftersales team who did eventually fix the issues but did not apologise to me once for my inconvenience. All in all I would recommend peter vardy to others but sadly I would have to be honest at the same time.

From the start the people there were very friendly and helpful. the car we had originally arrived to look at had been sold however the sales person Kelly found a similar car in the system and arranged for it to be send down for purchase.

I returned to peter vardy as my last experience buying my previous car was great however this time was completely different. The initial sale was fine but as soon as I bought the car it was very difficult to get ahold of anyone. None of my calls were being returned and no one phoned me for a follow up call which I was told to expect. My appointment to pick up the car was 5pm and I wasn’t actually seen until 5:50pm. Ridiculous amount of time to wait considering the actual handover took no longer than 10-15 mins. Then when I seen the car it was not to the standard I was told I would receive it. There were some issues with the car so I went back into the store before driving it away and made them aware. I was told I would receive a call later that night or following day and I didn’t receive any calls. I tried on numerous occasions to contact the store, leaving messages to be passed on to them and I still received no contact. I ended up needing to visit the store again 3 days later to complain as I was left in the dark not knowing when my new car was going to be repaired and no one was returning any of my calls. I also asked the salesman for a final price of the car with no hidden admin fees etc however he did not take the deposit into consideration so I ended up paying that twice and I’m still waiting for it to be credited to my account. The customer service I received this time was atrocious and I would not recommend anyone to go to peter vardy, very disappointed with the way I was treated, it seems to me they were only interested in the sale for month end and they didn’t care afterwards when there’s been issues with the car. In fairness the only positive I can say about my experience is when I went back into the store the woman in aftersales was very helpful as was the salesman that sold me my previous car. I now have a booking to go back and get the car fixed next week.

Well set up in this current climate to keep both customers and staff safe. Friendly staff, very helpful and attentive to needs of the customer. Thanks to Brian for working hard to get us the deal we wanted and for continuing to support us by answering our questions even after purchase. Would definitely be a returning customer.

I felt that the sales person covered everything that I needed to know and was very professional and patient as I couldnt make my mind up. Overall my experience was very good and hand over was good also. I would recommend this store.
