My sales man Michael McGuire was extremely helpful in making sure I got the car I wanted, ensuring I knew exactly what each part of my contract meant and making the process of getting the car go smoothly. Would deffinetly recommend Michael to friends when they are choosing new car. I am very happy with the car and glad I came to Peter Vardy

Struggling to give the rate I feel reflects my experience this time when purchasing a vehicle last week. We had used Vardys 2 years ago and they were faultless. This time...... not so great sadly. The sales side went without a hitch! Our salesman John Black was knowledgable, patient and very helpful from start to finish. He wasn’t pushy or intrusive. As a showroom, it’s very relaxed and there was never any pressure whilst browsing vehicles. You’re aware staff are around but they generally leave you be which is what I want when looking for a new car. We purchased our vehicle and agreed to collect at noon the next day which was great. Within 5 hrs of leaving Vardy’s the car completely shut down..... power steering, lights, central locking all went, stranding me midway between my work and my home. Long story short, it’s now 4 days later, I don’t have my new vehicle, and am unlikely to have it for another week. Vardys were reluctant to provide a courtesy car and asked me to get taxis to work and they would reimburse me at a later stage. This would see a significant financial output for me and i declined to do so. A courtesy car was eventually sent to me on Thursday but it reeks of cigarette smoke, hadn’t been valeted and looks like it might be a general store pool car as opposed to a courtesy car. Vardys called on Friday to ask me to take the new car back with one issue fixed and another still to be looked at in a weeks time so they could have the courtesy car back. Again, I declined. I don’t know what the issue with the car is and i am not willing to drive a vehicle with a fault. After all, if you buy a car, albeit second hand, from a garage like Vardys, you don’t expect it to break down mere hours later. As stated, the sales side of dealing with Vardys was great and i cannot fault them. However, the aftercare services and the people I have dealt with since the initial break down have sadly let the company down. The attitude of those I have spoken to via phone since has seemed very indifferent and like they don’t care. It very much feels like they have my money so they don’t need to bother. If I could split the rating into sales and after sales I would but i can’t so I’m afraid Johns good work isn’t reflected fully in my rating.

From the moment we enquired about the car we were interested in our salesman Kim couldnt be anymore informative and helpful he kept in touch with us from the very start and was even there when we picked up our car would highly recommended him again to anyone looking for great service

I was able to get the car that I had my eye on. It wasn’t ready when I took it for a test drive but when I picked it up it looked great.

Peter vardy carstore madee happy, simply because they have always been very inviting towards myself and other aswell as helping out with as much as they could giving 110%, where as some companies wouldn't.

I received a warm welcome, and was given store information straight away. I was greeted by Michael Payne, who was very helpful. After ascertaining what I was looking for and of course my budget, he was full of information and suggestions. He was hospitable to my friend and my son, and offered free refreshments. He then left me alone so I could have a look around, and approached again once he noticed I stopped at a car of interest. The store itself is great as it is indoors; this was a welcome change on a freezing afternoon. I am delighted with the car and after sale contact was made to establish if I was happy with my car. The purchase was stress free, and the staff were very efficient.

The whole experience of buying a car was a pleasure with peter vardy, the sales person who dealt with me was Micheal mcguire, who listened to my needs and found a car that that suited my budget.

Excellent customer care all through the buying and receiving process. Chris Doak our salesman was absolutely wonderful, helpful, no pressure, great knowledge, a very enjoyable experience 👍👍 especially after the slipshod, diabolical treatment we experienced at Arnold Clark (Springburn), they have lost 4 customers, and we will now be dealing exclusively with Peter Vardy and hopefully Chris !!!!!

Great Salesman, very helpful. Great customer service. Handover procedure was a bit long and left unattended for a considerable amount of time more than twice. Otherwise great.

This is my second car from Peter Vardy and once again I was not disappointed. Craig Dick was a fantastic salesman and really helpful from start to finish. I told Craig what my budget was, he showed me my options and even managed to save me money on my monthly payments!
