I received my Cart Tek Delux as promised . Everything works right out of the box except the Remote Controller. It was replaced within a week. The cart work great on course and control is simple. I like the manual control on the caddy as I cross a narrow path or bridge. Time will tell whether it is reliable. The unit is bigger than I thought and it is tight will the golf bag in the trunk and I have a full size trunk. Overall I am happy with the purchase. I would give the rating a 5 star if not for the non functioning remote control.

Cart Tek has been very good to me and my friend's. The service has been great. Recently purchased a couple of items which I had alittle flau. MY Stainless Steel Scorecard plastic cover broke so I ordered a new one from Cart Tek. Apparently there are multiple different Stainless Steel holders and I received a cover which is longer than my old one. This forced me to make an adjustment to the mounting of the original holder. I left a voice mail with Cart Tek indicating the issue since I couldn't speak with a live agent. No big deal.

Remote battery cover came in just as promised….delivery cost was $5.75 as I remember and took weeks !!!! Not CartTek’s problem but still reflection on your service

Might be 5 stars except: I used it twice so far on a short exec course. After both the charger indicated about 50% discharge. So, on the surface, 27 holes seem a bit out of reach. However: Both uses were on a very wet and muddy course. Also there is no proof that the charge indication on the charger is even remotely linear. So I will withhold my final judgement until I can give it a few more tests.

As of this date , getting the on/off button removed is a bear, but will now take the right handle off and maybe that will work

Had (3) recent repair issues. Two were resolved with great service and advice. I still have an outstanding with the remote acting inconsistently. The advice to resolve this has not been effective so far. 5 stars on the first two issues. No rating yet on the remote issue. I highly recommend car tek to my friends because of the quality of the products and the exceptional after-sales service.

Very nice cart. I like the sleek look it has. And it makes 18 holes a lot less fatiguing! But here's the things I wish were better (note that negative impressions usually get the most feedback!). 1)it would be nice if the on/off button had a more tactile feeling. Often I end up hitting it twice because I'm not sure if I stopped it or not, so the cart doesn't stop or stops and starts again. Or why not just ditch the button and only use the dial? Have it click when it's in the off position? The speed dial is very nice and intuitive to use. 2) I think the handle assembly should be able to lock. Sometimes I push the handle and it moves forward and the straps holding my bag shift, and i have to reset the bag 3) I've noticed the gearing is a bit noisier than the MGI model that my friends have. 4) the tracking on side hills is quite good (when in remote control mode) 5) not quite sure about the remote yet. My initial take is that it's too big. Why not have a remote the size of my Apple TV remote? Include a wheel like on the original IPod for steering control? 6) Battery size is great!! Smallest of any cart I've seen. I've only done 18 holes on my hilly course, so I haven't tested it to its limit yet. And the charging process....awesome. very easy.

Your service is always good. Your motors are awful. I’ve just installed the 7th motor in my cart that is less than 2 years old.

No one answers the customer service number, so you have to leave a message. However, the message is returned relatively quickly (usually the same day). I had to order a replacement remote for my cart. The original remote is no longer manufactured so a replacement remote requires an upgrade kit. The upgrade kit costs $59 and the remote is $100. Seems a little steep for what you get. The YouTube video on the website for my cart shows a cart that is not the same cart, so instructions have to be in print form. The remote and upgrade kit came within 2 days which was quicker than expected, however the printed instructions were not included, so another call to customer service was required. Same story - leave a message and it was returned quickly. Then the instructions were emailed to me. When I went to install the upgrade kit, it was relatively simple, however, the instructions said the remoter should be paired, which it was not. There were instructions on how to pair the remote, but they were somewhat confusing. I left another message for customer service, which was returned quickly, but I had already figured out how to pair it. The instructions say to put the cart in "standby mode" (just plug in the battery). What I normally would do is push the battery button to stop the battery light from flashing. This did not work. The remote cannot be programmed unless the battery light is flashing. This should be noted in future instructions. However, Zach in customer service should be complemented for returning calls quickly and being a knowledgeable resource.

The cart was pulling left and that is the main reason I returned the cart for repair. That issue was resolved. I am grateful for that. I understood from my conversation with either Tyler or Zack that you were going to replace the front wheel. That was not done. Not a big problem. I will continue for now with the front wheel that is there and probably order a new one sometime in the future. The one negative I have is cost involved with shipping the cart to you there in Bend from here in Southern California. I do appreciate the box that you used to return the cart. I am keeping the box for the next time.

I’ve owned the 1500 v2 for what is now my fourth season. It’s solid in construction but parts of it are not. The manual speed dial is shoddy and has been a problem since the beginning with the knob coming loose. It finally fell off while I was using the remote so I lost it on the course. I’m hoping the new replacement I ordered is a better design. The remote for the cart is way to big and the belt clip is useless. I can only get 3 or 4 rounds out of a set of batteries in the remote so you have to have carry spares with you. I’m now buying rechargeable AAAs because it eats through batteries so fast. Problem is you need a screwdriver to open the battery compartment so it’s a pain on the course.they really need to shrink the remote down, put a clip instead of a screw on the battery cover and should make it rechargeable ideally by plugging it into the cart for a charge. Overall I like the cart but wish they would talk to someone like me whose used it for many rounds and make some changes that would make it better. Would I buy the cart again? If they fixed the few issues I mentioned here then probably but there are other improvements I think would be advantageous as well. I often wonder if the folks that design this stuff actually use it.

Robert, Thank you so much for your feedback on the V2. We have found these minor downfalls as well (speed dial knob, remote belt clip, rechargeable remote control) and have corrected them with the 1500 V3, which was just recently released. Yes, we do use these products out on the courses, but also take feedback and input from our customers.

for a company with a reputation of great customer service, Cart Tek let me down. Multiple phone calls with requests to return my call went unanswered. I was unsure of the part size needed , took a guess and ordered on line.My guess worked out and my gri-1500Li is repaired. I hope that next time customer service will be more responsive.

Excellent customer support to determine if I need to replace a 6-year-old battery but talking into buying a replacement battery was a rush judgment on my part as I did not compare costs at another merchant, $ 350 a bit pricey.
