“I love my Padrone. It was simple to install. The screen is easy to read while cycling and programming is straightforward. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that my initial purchase went flying off when I hit a pothole and was immediately obliterated by a passing truck. I was able to get a discount on a replacement from Cateye after contacting them. When I installed the replacement, I realized that you have to push it HARD to get it to properly click into place, which the directions didn't emphasize.”

“Very nice computer. Size makes it less obtrusive and simple operation sets it aside from many others that can be a bit confusing. The rubber bands that are used to secure computer are a good idea but in reality I broke both of mine due to diameter of shock and moving it on handlebar from one bike to another. Zip ties, which I was charged over $4 for eight (quite steep) solved the issue.”

I use it most of the time on lowest brightness mode to have the longest runtime and avoid heating up, that's because my ride usually lasts for 5+ hours
The CatEye Rapid X2 Kinetic is good but I wish there was an option to disable kinetic option !
It's so sensitive that it turns on without braking. It turns on if the road is not smooth
I was using rapid mode and it lasted for total 3 hours then turned off... I am a little bit disappointed but It still a good product...
Also the large rubber band didn't suit to mount the light on seatpost , should have been larger.
I have installed it on thin tube of the frame.
Next time (maybe next year) I am planning to buy CatEye Viz 450 and maybe Volt 1700 if I found good discount on them.
I must mention that when I placed my last order I forgot the rear light, contacted CatEye support and they helped me add it with discount!

“This is my 4th Cateye computer. The unit was installed and briefly worked. I replaced both batteries and adjusted thw magnetic pickup to the sensor. I could not get ot to work. I posted pictures of the bike with the computer to show how it was setup. Cateye did not assist with any suggestions of how to troubleshoot the issue. I spent $6 to send it back and Cateye said it worked and charged me a restocking fee. What a rip off.”
