Good day to whom this may apply. I love Catos fashions. I only shop here until recently. I'm currently serving at a APO AP shipping address. And I'm now denied access to the website to shop because I do not have a United States address. We are soilders and civilians that love Catos and now are denied without any estimated timeline as to when the website will be made available to us. Can we please receive an ETA?

I went in to Cato, to find a new outfit for My class reunion. And I noticed a corset that was cute. I asked who I thought was the manager Eat people actually bring back underwear and she said yes. And laughed about it. I said something about not buying that here. But I get by the corset as it doesn't touch any Private body parts. It was too big and I brought it back for return. She informed me at this time that she couldn't take it back because I had taken the tags off, Oh, even though I brought them with me. When I questioned it, she got pretty hateful about it. She said she told me underwear has to have the tags on it, But she did not tell me that. Besides this doesn't touch private parts. It doesn't touch as much as a bathing suit does. So it's been laying in the backseat of my car in the bag for about a month now and I don't know what to do with it. But her whole attitude was ugly. Of course, while I was spending hundreds of dollars to buy a new outfit, her attitude was outstanding! By the way, I've noticed the last couple of years.The clothes you are selling are atrocious. They're just really ugly, and they look like something out of a bargain barn. I've been buying my clothes from cato.For about twenty years And if you looked in my closet, that's all you would say. Cato clothes and purses. So I have watched the quality. Of your clothes go downhill to the point you can't find a decent dress. Without weird frills and ruffles and florals, and it's just ugly stuff And I guess I'll have to find another place to buy quality clothing. And now, apparently, you're selling children's clothes. So that means we're gonna have to put up with people's children in the stores while we're trying to shop! There are plenty of children's clothing shops.We don't need them in Cato! We've always been able to shop quietly and undisturbed, but now other people's children are so badly behaved. That's just f y i.

I didn't get a chance to be happy because the lady followed me all over the store like I was stealing and that kind of made me mad so I won't be going back to Cato's and Gaffney South Carolina

I live in a small town, and there aren’t a lot of options for women’s clothes. I also understand that everyone has a bad day, but I’ve had too many experiences with rude employees to think it’s a one time thing. The Murphy, NC store has such a bad reputation though that I don’t think it’s just me.

I love Catos clothes but the customer service that I recently recieved regarding my package has me upset. I placed two orders on the same date online receieved one package but could not track the second package due to postal sevice upgrade and told to wait a week too see if second packages arrived ok fine so I patiently waited over a week too see if my packages arrived and this time placed a 3rd order needless to say i recieved my 3rd package and the second one never come. although i am happy inwas refunded but upset that i never got my items and now can't even reorder the items because they are no longer in stock just wish I was told up front that after waiting 3 weeks that my package was never filled or shipped.

I did all of my blouse buying at Cato, but they have changed suppliers and their blouses are much too short for me as I am 6 feet tall. It’s fine to add new items but why just totally stop making the longer blouses? Very disappointed.

I would complain about the Madison heights location but it probably won’t do me any good since the two employees are related to the manager ! ( her sister in law and her step daughter )

I witnessed the manager in Martinsville Va around 2019 seemingly going out of her way of her way to deter a lady from applying for a job when there was a Now Hiring sign on the door. The clerk who wears a face shield is ear splittingly loud, laughs like a pack of wild hyenas.Is hell bent on not giving you the option of cash back if you pay with a debit card. I happen to work for Cato . I have been with them for 8 1/2 years . I get on this site and see all of the negative reviews of this company and I understand why I see some of these reviews. On the other hand , there are times when customers come in with a really bad attitude. We welcome every customer that walks into our store. Half the time , the customers are on their phones and don't give us the time of day. The other half of the time , they come into the stores with their own rotten attitudes but consider the employees at fault when we fail to treat them like royalty . I'm way to old and way to tired to play games with grown women. If you don't want to be treated rudely , don't be rude to the people who ARE trying to help you. Get over yourselves , grow up and treat US the way you expect to be treated.

By reading the reviews of other customers, it has become painfully clear that Catos management does not care about customer service. I’m in Sioux Falls, SD. The “store manager” is very rude and uncaring. They used to care when someone entered the store. But now they just ignore you. When you bought something, the sales person used to walk around the counter, smile and hand you your purchase. Now they barely look up. It has changed so much. , you never know if you should drive all the way to the store since it’s hit and miss that someone will actually be working there. I don’t know who does your interviewing for a job positions but it needs serious improvement stop worrying about employee theft (I heard it 1st hand) and start worrying about getting customers what they want and what they need.

I wish you could go with a different patterns I'm all your clothes . New prints... the clothes are dull colors and everything plaid looks like second hand me downs. I bought my clothes when Cato came to Ft. Smith, AR But some thing has diffently changed. Please help us look good in our clothes by changing the companies fashion. Ty

Everytime I visit, I see a cute top up on display, but it's always the only one they have of it and it's XS... EVERY SINGLE TIME. OVER IT

I visit Cato all the time in Springfield Mo off Kansas Expressway. I spend 100$ of dollars in there monthly. I will no longer be shopping at Cato at this location. I went in to shop on Sat 4/23/2022 about 230pm and the lady working was not friendly at all! She was mid 20s short shoulder length jet black hair .When I approached the counter to check out she never smiled or spoke to me and once she got my items tallied up i added a necklace choker to my items for one of my kids, she huffed and I heard her puff and she jerked the necklace aside when i handed it to her to ring it up. When she finished checking me out she still never smiled I told her god bless you and have a nice day! Still no smile or any response. This will be my last experience of bad customer service at this store. I'm in customer service myself and the actions I received from this employee were unprofessional and unethical. Cato’s is not what it use to be. Their quality of clothing as gone down 90% I purchased a blouse, wore it twice I started to see the front of it getting fuzzy so I washed it in cold water and that really messed the blouse up, the sleeves threading came loose, thread was everywhere. Another blouse I purchased did the same thing I went to the store told them about it and the person that was working apologize and refunded my money. What’s happening to Catos? That was my go to store. They charge to much for their clothes if it’s not on Clearance and it’s gets ruin by wearing a couple of times let alone if you wash it. I will be finding another go to store.
