“Quick and simple way to get info on car I was interested in and highlited it was a Cat D which was not mentioned in Car advert.”

“Did a car check - found that the car I was interested in had been advertised 3 times in 3 different areas for the same price. A very cheap price for the age and model. This ranged from Scotland to London. Well, if a deal seems too good to be true - then it generally is! Strangely, when I challenged the seller with this information - he removed the advert and has ignored me since! So, one check has probably saved me several thousands of pounds! Trading Standards for the seller I think!”

“Uk Vehicle Ltd was instant in its reply to me regarding my proposed purchase of a commercial van. It enabled a cross check to be carried out on the info supplied by the Vendor. I will certainly continue to use UK Vehicle Ltd and recommend it very highly John Butler Roscrea Tipperary Ireland.”

“I requested a HPI check on a mini cooper which I have for sale and have the V5 but no one will go near it for some reason so trying to find out why. Picked your company as it was at the beginning of the google search as I imagine most other people have done and you told me dvla has no record of it, which is the kiss of death if you are trying to sell something. I rang the dvla and flew into them and they read all details back to me and said they cannot update there records as they are ok and car is all good. And said the problem is with the HPI company and thats YOU . and for that it cost me £9.90 but worst of all you would and probably already have put off potential buyers. However a full refund was given without hesitation.”

Hi, We obtain details from various sources and the DVLA being only one of them. Unfortunately on this occasion there has been an error whilst running your check. This is usually caused by our database not having any details present for a vehicle currently registered to VE05 RHZ. I can confirm a full refund has been given. A personal email has been sent regarding this. Regards Seaneen

“You claimed that there was outstanding finance on the vehicle, this turned out to be incorrect. I carried out 2 further checks with other companies to confirm there was indeed no finance outstanding and confirmed this with the seller. Your incorrect search resulted in a lot of wasted time and effort.”

“It's a easy way to check about a vehicle, I think it could be better, I paid to check a car I'm buying and it showed it had finance on it, so when I asked the dealer he said he paid the it off which he had, it just hadn't been updated yet, but I would have to pay again to check it with this service, I think it would be better if you can check it for up to a week afterwards with the original payment!!”
