“Not as good as I had hoped. My car had a plate change in 2015, I was hoping to find the previous owners before then. I knew it had 6 previous owners I had already found that out on the Gov web sites for free. I was hoping to get the previous owners names to check on the cars history but found that under the data protection act that that is no longer possible. It was good to know it had no history of accidents or written off so thats a plus.”

“It highlighted that car had outstanding finance and gave the name of the company who had an interest in the vehicle. I was able therefore to phone them and ascertain it was a “unit stocking “ finance loan which the garage had taken out to purchase his stock. Therefore in my opinion the dealer is relying on my money to pay his debts. Allowed me to make an informed decision as to weather to pursue the deal. I decided against.”

“Car had a dodgy licence plate story which was cleared up perfectly by the check. also showed previous advertised for price, allowing us to keep negotiating. well worth the cost.”

“Never received the car report ordered by mail, just a flashed up report, which I couldn't go back to later. No receipt for payment was sent.The report, from what I saw, was light on detail, with very limited information on the changes in ownership and registration plate. In fact, it was incorrect, as it indicated the car had only 2 changes in registration, but had in fact at least 3. The report had flagged up outstanding finance, but failed to mention this was perfectly normal dealer finance. Given the inaccuracies and failure of the service, I don't see how the valuations mean anything.”

“The report came though very quickly, by email- for some reason we had omitted to do the search before embarking on a long journey to view a vehicle, and the report indicated that although there was no outstanding finance on the vehicle, our main concern, it flagged up as a Cat N, who ch the seller hadn't disclosed when advertising. So, saved from what could have been an expensive mistake and if we had done this in a timely fashion we could have saved ourselves an unnecessary journey.”
