“Very disappointed to be honest. The report said the car I was intending to buy had outstanding finance on it. I nearly walked away from the deal but decided to ring the finance company. To my surprise they told me it had been cleared by the previous owner (not the existing one). I therefore paid for inaccurate and out of date information which not only cost me £9.99 but almost prevented me from buying a vehicle that suited me.”

“All ok with plenty of information until it came to registering, which aparantly lets you see more previous history. (old adverts/prices etc). Thats when it failed. The server wasnt recognised and SSL wasn't allowing access to the next page. Also came up as 'unsafe site' So got as much as an hpi check but disapointed about non-registration. Just about worth a tenner.”

“I was pleased with the speed of the result,but a little confused as to how the motorbike I was checking showed as being registered in 1964! This is impossible and I can only assume it is a mistake on your part!”

“The check revealed the vehicle had outstanding finance and supplied me with the details of the company supplying the finance. this feature was very useful. However what was not so useful was the fact that this information was out of date and the finance has been cleared. Therefor this check actually put me through unnecessary stress and anxiety.”
