“Very basic check, would expect keeper change dates in addition to number of previous owners. Also confused by the fact that the car was a 52 plate yet the check indicated date of reg as July 03 which would ordinarily put the car on an 03 plate - did not appear to be a cherished plate and no suggestion of being imported??? This has put me off buying the car but niggling doubts in the back of my mind that check data is incorrect.”

“I was pleased to find Cazana and pleased with my first search. I did however buy 4 searches and I dont know how to start the next one! Do I just go to Cazanas main page again (as if starting afresh?) as I cant seem to get there from emails I've had.”

“The information provided added no aditional value over what is freely available elsewhere. The 'additional' information regarding 'buyer info' should be renamed something like 'serial numbers' and is quite misleading.”

“Out of date information. Reported as a fail due to outstanding finance on the car. I checked this morning with the financing company listed and they have had no interest in the car for some time. I have asked to be reimbursed.”

We obtain our information from various sources, including the DVLA. If finance has recently been cleared it could take a while for them to update their system and for the details to filter through to us. Our system will only update once we receive this information and cannot be done manually. This is why we provide finance company contact details on our reports.
