Ordered mower online, had email following day to say dispatched with courier. Week later no sign, tried ringing, only accepting emails. Sent email, wait a few days for reply which said will chase it up. Gave me the tracking number, contacted the delivery company, tracking number didnt exist. Tried all phone numbers for all stores until had ti demand to speak to the manager, got put through to online customer service. Was told they'd ring the delivery company again, after waiting over 2 weeks asked for my money to be returned. No offer of any goodwill. I could have walked to the store got the mower and cut all the verges on the way home quicker than it's taken to get an answer. Very poor service, will I be spending any money with Charlie's stores in future? NO

It was easy to find the item I wanted and it was priced more reasonably than any where else but what I am so impressed with is delivery; I ordered on Friday and my package was delivered first thing on the Monday morning, other companies I have ordered from are taking much longer and the delivery charge was much less too. I will definitely be ordering from Charlie’s Direct again.

Great price, excellent communication and post sales support. Offered no quibble replacement for a solar water feature that had started wearing out, when most of the sellers would ask you to contact the manufacturer directly. Finally, issued a partial refund as a goodwill gesture.

I ordered goods that they stated had free delivery/P&P to all UK mainland postcodes but they refused to send the goods unless I paid extra!

People need to be aware of the shabbiness of this business, 2 kennels bought via amazon arrived not of the quality expected so asked to send back I was told I would gave to pay return despite not fit for purpose. Complained to Amazon. Seller eventually after so much fannying about arranged courier to collect. Courier collected advised seller they said would be back on Monday and refund processed. Now Wednesday still no refund I get told IT TAKES 14 DAYS FOR REFUND! to me thats 3 weeks since initial sale. So who benefits these lot do. VERY UNHELPFUL, DOES NOT HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, EXPECTS YOU TO READ T&C WHICH MOST WOULDNT BOTHER WITH SMALL PRINT IF JUST BUYING ITEMS OUTRIGHT. JUST BE WARNED YOU DONT ALWAYS GET WHAT THEY ADVERTISE OR CLAIM.

I ordered at 3.35pm on Wednesday 10th September 2014 and everything received by courier by lunchtime Friday 12th September 2014. They are also very quck to answer the phone. Very impressed.
