“Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes has always been one of the best gourmet food sources around. The thing that makes them outstanding to us is that they continue to improve their service, including the timeliness of deliveries, and to increase their selection of offerings. They offer selections from full meals for two (or more) to special smaller samplers. The sample special of pumpkin cake roll has hooked us forever. And, we will partake of our umpteenth Turkey Roll dinner this holiday. We enjoy Chesapeake Crab Cakes products throughout the year - always a treat and a real help to the one doing the cooking!”
“My order arrived the day AFTER I was told it would be delivered. The ice was almost gone. I ordered the soup sampler but received two Lobster Bisque soups but NO Maryland Crab soup! While my husband will enjoy the bisque he would have liked to try your Maryland Crab soup I'm sure! I promptly put the order in our freezer, but have not tried anything yet because it was his Christmas gift! CB did try to contact me, but due to a communications snafu we were NEVER able to connect. Now, for some reason I cannot find how to contact CB directly! *SIGH*”
“Living in Minnesota, I had the desire for the Eastern US tastes for my Holiday season. I liked the variety, sizes, and packaging that fit in my apartment sized refrigerator/freezer. They arrived in perfect condition. Shipped when stated. Nice to have the catalogue and online option for future use. Worth the cost for this treat.”
“First time order of Onion Soup and Salmon
Have had the soup thus far but not the Salmon
The soup seemed heavy on garlic(?) and did not cheese melt as we hoped. But will try again. Was tasty though. Will try the Salmon soon possibly over New Yearβs weekend.”
“These crab cakes have a few pieces of lump crab meat on top and the rest is just filler with little to no taste. They are no better than the ones I can buy locally.”
“I purchased the seafood gumbo package containing 2 32 ounce packets of 'seafood gumbo'. I am not sure what warranted the title seafood since in the first pack I heated up there were a few really miniscule shrimp, certainly not enough to qualify for the title 'seafood'. They were tiny and tasteless and while the Andouille sausage bits were ok there weren't a lot of them either. Since the order cost me approximately $80 with shipping and handling, one packet set me back $40 and would provide enough for approximately 2 meals, certainly not the 4-5 as claimed in the product description. The sauce was ok, a little bland for a gumbo, the only real positive was the shipping, a sturdy container with dry ice that kept the packets frozen solid. I am disappointed, expecting something maybe restaurant quality for the price but not even close.”
“It was a gift. It absolutely delighted the receptionists. We told them to keep the beacon burning bright so Santa finds their house on Christmas night. Thank you!”
