“The first one I bought years ago was great and this new one is just superb. It was then programmed to open at 6am as the hens were out making a noise much too early. The Chicken Guard overrides the time and waits until it is light enough to open now late september. It shuts at very dusk [80] [ could be different times] to make sure all are in as there is always ...one. If all are in and the door is still open I can touch the down arrow and it overrides it to close. There are so many foxes here that most people have lost all their hens. Thanks to the door I still have mine. I am very pleased with it as I can go away and leave a friend to see them at any time in the day. I didn't install it but it looked easy for the person who did.”
