“I was excited about receiving my 750ml bottle but I've been left disappointed and don't think I'll be using it. Firstly I was hoping for a squatter bottle. The wine bottle shape makes it harder to fill and almost impossible at work. Secondly, even after washing and rinsing I am still getting an unpleasant taste from the bottle, maybe an artificial oily taste. So overall a lot of money spent for something I don't think I'll ever use. Oh well.”

Hi Jon, Thanks for your review. We are sorry to hear you are having issues with your Chilly's Bottle. The taste can be removed with a thorough clean with bicarbonate soda. Also regular hot soapy water cleaning will help. Hope this helps and please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks Jon

“I purchased the chilli bottle for my mother, she wanted it because you guaranteed that it kept drinks hot for up to 18 hours. My mother tried differing ways of making her pot of tea, emptying it into the bottle at approx 10 pm so that she could wake up to a hot drink at approx 8 am. Unfortunately the tea was only Luke warm after only 8 hours and undrinkable. Very disappointing”

“I purchased this primarily so I could take soup to work for lunch. Unfortunately after 5 hours the soup was lukewarm and I had to reheat it.”

“Bought a 750ml chilly bottle for my trip to Iceland on the basis hot drinks are supposed to remain hot for 18hrs. Used it for the first time with tomato soup during our car journey around the golden circle. The bottle was kept in the car at all times and as we were on the move for the majority of the time it was warm in the car. 7hrs into the journey i tried my soup and it was luke warm! Disappointed doesnt come close for £23! Id have been better buying a standard thermos at half the price!”

“The description says that the bottle will stay hot for up to 18 hours: within 3 hours the water had cooled enough to put my fingers in and within 8 hours was totally cold. I shall be returning the item.”
