“Honestly, I was a bit disappointed when I got my nail varnish. It looked like carnival glass on the website, and when I got it, it colour shifts only slightly. It also chips off easily, even with two coats of top coat. It's not cheap after all.”

“So, my bf was in the UK recently and I decided to buy a bunch of Glitter Flip liquid lipsticks for him to carry back to Singapore. After ordering, my bf told me he'd given me the wrong address. I emailed customer service, and got an automated email saying that I would receive a response in 48 hours. 2 days go by, no response, and there's no phone number to call on the "Contact Us" page I go through the website to see if there's a way to change my address. I somehow get led to a form (I can't remember if it's on the Ciate website or the Royal Mail website) and try to change the shipping address. No go. My items ship before I find the Ciate Facebook page and a contact number on Google and receive an email response from Customer Service. Luckily my bf managed to sort out the delivery address directly with Royal Mail. The customer service staff were really polite and friendly, but I wish they'd managed to respond a bit sooner.”

“Products are good, but to advise that a parcel has been despatched, having paid for P&P and then taking a week to arrive after that, really spoils the buying occasion. As a courier service is employed, having to wait at home for a parcel to arrive for a week is poor service. No tracking either.”

“I ordered forbidden fruits and after dark. Both are beautiful colours. My only issue was that the lid for after dark was broken. Not enough to be non usable though. Amazing products!”

“I have bought four lipsticks from Ciate, three I am happy with and one of which is clearly not the same colour as advertised. I emailed Ciate to explain and was told I could return the lipstick for a refund, however, when I email back (twice) to say I would like a returns labels as I didn't think I should have to pay for the return postage (miss-advertisement - the colour is clearly not the same as advertised) I have been ignored. Shame on you Ciate.”

“They are beautiful lip glosses and the glitter is amazing!! However my brown one doesn’t last, goes blobby and then makes my lips red rather than staying brown so don’t think I would buy that colour again which is a real shame! Is this meant to happen?”

“Bought the Ciate advent calendar and a lovely gift. However 2 of the bottles were dry and pretty empty and lids broken. No mess in the packaging so clearly must have been put in like that. Shame.”
