“There aren't warnings or notices about having to reside, or pretending to reside in (via VPN), prior to purchasing the key. I bought a key hoping to fast track playing the game since I decided I wanted to play it in the middle of the night.. I was advised to VPN to an EU country to login in and trigger the key. I tried 5 countries with my own account, over the span of a few hours, closing and reopening browsers between NordVPN sessions, and on different machines. I suspect Steam has figured out how to block some of the VPN companies or now requires you to call in to change your country of origin. I tried to get my money back for a couple days. It seemed like that was going to be a long wait, so I finally ended up utilizing the key, but only by creating a completely new login, via Linux, using the key, just to get it in my inventory. Then I went back to my Windows game rig and was able to play just fine, without VPN. Still, I was hoping to plal quickly, but with no notice about having to VPN to another country and 2 days of limbo, with lackluster support, I won't be coming back.”

“The key I got didn’t work. Apparently it’s being worked on but it’s taken several days. The best way to handle this would be to provide a new key instantly rather than making the customer wait.”

“I can't redeem until I let my current subscription expire since my current subscription is from another country than the one I bought. I will (maybe) be able to redeem in a couple of weeks, until then I won't know if I lost my money or not.”

“I pre-order nba 2k23 and it became available September 9th at 12 am well I waited till 12 16 pm to get key it says its in stock but when I hit generate key it say it has to be stocked but I refreshed the site to see if it changed to not in stock but nope says it is in wtf is the deal I've even got an email saying it's shipped”

“I ordered a game (InSilence) on CJS CD Keys and in the description it said I would get a CD steam. That is not what I got. Also it said that this "steam key" was region free. I got a link that told me to give my steam profile Id and choose the country I was in, didn't let me choose any country outside of Europe and I am in the United States. I would have to contact steam to change my country. Therefore they were unable to send the steam gift to my account. Overall quick delivery but they trick you into thinking you will get a steam key. In the end I still haven't gotten even an email with cd key.”

“Purchased a key that does not work. Tried to use it for my Xbox so that I could get a trial of Xbox gold but it's not for the region I live in.. I'm in the US. I even asked for a replacement.. but they said no 😂🤷 good thing I paid less than $2”

“I tried to purchase an older version of word for my 11 year old computer. CJS CD advertised a 2019 version, as my last update was in 2020 I thought that it would be suitable. CHS CD didn’t supply any minimum operating system information on the advertising material. When I tried to install it I found that my computer was not sufficiently updated to run the program. When I made CHS CD aware of the issues they basically said “buyer beware “ and gave no help in solving my problems.”
