Hi Patricia, Thank you for your review regarding your purchase made with us in March of this year. I have checked back and we have not received any emails from you since you received your ring to say you were unhappy with your purchase. The ring you purchased was one a ladies Claddagh Dress ring that was Made to-Order in 10 karat white gold and set with an emerald and diamonds. The description on our website shows all the relevant sizes and dimensions so that customers are aware of these before making their purchase. The description for this ring shows the height as approx. 10.1 mm in the centre and that the band of the ring is approx. 2.4 mm. It also shows the size of the centre emerald as approx. 2.5 mm and the weight as 0.05 carat. There are 7 smaller diamonds which surround the centre stone and they are 1.4 mm each with a total weight of 0.10 carats. The Colour of the diamonds are H which is in the Nearly Colourless range and the Clarity is SL1. This ring also has a video showing it being worn to give a better idea of what it will look like on a ladies hand. We are always happy to answer any questions customers may have prior to their making a purchase to help them decide if the item is one they will be happy with. This is a very popular ring on our website as well as our shops since it was first introduced in 2009 and as it comes in several different variations we have had several wonderful emails from customers saying how happy they were with their purchase. The prices we charge on all items on our website are very competitive and the price for this ring is comparable with prices charged for other similar emerald and diamond rings in this style. “BUYERS BEWARE: If you are in the US, their rings are 1/4 size smaller than actual US sizes. When asked to exchange, they wanted a fortune in shipping, handling and who knows what fees. Would NEVER buy from again! Had to order 5 times on website - kept getting errors. Emailed, never heard back. Poor customer service and not accurate sizing. There are much better jewelers in Ireland, with good reputation, service, website and products. Do your self a favor and shop elsewhere.”

Hi Miriam, In reply to your recent review I wish to clarify some points you have stated that are incorrect. Our ring sizes shown on our website are accurate & correspond with the number size format used in the USA and Canada. We also have information in our FAQ section which each ring description directs you to regarding being accurately measured. We have used this same sizing format for over 30 years and have never have any issues with it. All rings are also checked three times before they are sent out to verify that sizes are correct. Our rings are only cast in full & half American number sizes so it would be impossible for them to be the ¼ sizes you mention. We have sold hundreds of this ring over the years sizing has never been an issue. Regarding emails never being answered this is also an inaccurate statement as all your emails were answered in a timely manner and we have all of these emails here on file. The TWO (not FIVE) previous orders you placed that did not complete were ones that were declined by your own credit card issuing company so this was not due to an error on our part. You were offered two options to get your ring resized from a US 7 to a 7.5 – it could be sent back and our own jeweller would have done this for you free of charge OR if you wished to save on postage for sending it back to us you could check if your own local jeweller would be able to do it to for you to save you some money. The shipping costs for returning the ring to you once resized were the standard special rates we offer all customers on our website so there were no excessive fees which you would have been charged. There would also have been NO other fees you would have been charged and you are leading customers to believe there would be We pride ourselves on our customers service and in making our customers shopping experiences an easy one. We are happy to answer any questions they have and this is reflected in the many 5 star reviews we have received. Kind Regards, Claddagh Jewellers
