“I live in Canada and purchased a necklace when I was travelling in Ireland. When my necklace broke, I ordered a new one and I was so happy to receive it in the beautiful shiny green package! The pendant has started to loose some of the silver plating and has a dark looking spot on it now, which is disappointing.”

Hi Christi, Thank you for leaving a review. We checked your order and and this pendant is not plated therefor it would not be peeling and we do not see that in the image. What is happening to your necklace is it is tarnishing and this is something that happens to all silver items. It can happen quicker to items if they are worn in the shower, sprayed with purfume or left on windowsills with direct sunlight, to name a few. Luckily, this is easily fixed by bringing it to your jeweller to be cleaned and using a polishing cloth to polish the item. “I was shopping for authentic celtic jewelry and found Claddagh Jewellers. It didn't take much browsing at all until I came upon two pieces that were absolutely perfect for the gift I was shopping for. The prices were great and so my celtic jewelry shopping was made very easy! I had to leave the website right after I ordered the jewelry because I knew if I'd stayed any longer that I would have come away very poor and/or very much in debt!! I will always stop here first when on a quest for Irish/Celtic gifts! Thanks CJ!”

“The pendant I ordered was beautiful, but the chain that was in the box did not have one end of the clasp attached. It was never soldered to the chain. It was very disappointing when my wife opened her gift & could not wear it b/c of poor quality control.”

“I made a purchase before christmas , it was for my young daughter and it was the first piece of jewelry she got. She is very proud of her Irish heritage and was thrilled to see her gift. As a first piece I did not spend a great deal but I was treated as if I did. The staff who responded to my inquiry were extremely nice and very helpful. The smile that was on my daughters face I will never forget and from now on, every birthday and at Christmas I will be giving her additional gifts from Claddagh Jewelers. Every one at Claddagh should know that they area first rate business. Thanks for making Christmas so special for my daughter and also for me.”

“My girlfriend loved the ring. The fine details like the weaving knots was well detailed, and the gold contrast nicely with the silver. Shipping while certainly not fast did arrive on the day it was projected. Would order from again.”
