“We had a wonderful time at Simon and Hanna's class. We cooked 2 tasty potato dishes and most of the class was focused on knife skills and understanding how to prep the ingredients correctly. It's the kind of knowledge that's more valuable than just learning a recipe! I appreciate the meticulous feedback we got, to give you an idea of how it worked: I think my knife handling was corrected a good 5 times, to help me get to an acceptable technique! The atmosphere was warm, we were served tea and told life stories that helped us understand the recipes and the thinking behind the ingredients and cooking techniques. I definitely recommend classes with Simon and Hanna if you want to dip your toes into a new cuisine, but also if you want to sharpen your cooking skills.”

The setup was perfect, and the drink and snacks were such a nice touch—everything was just so thoughtfully arranged. The highlight of the evening, though, was the teacher,Jess. Not only did she take the time to connect with each participant, but she also created such a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere that helped bring out everyone’s creativity.
