My complaint is about the group that provides email customer service, not the product. I signed up for a Clean Choice contract of 7 cents per KWH for 12 months, and accidentally misspelled my email address. It was too late to correct it, so I signed up again with the correct email, then I immediately contacted customer service to advise them so they could delete the account with the incorrect email; that confirmation number for the correct email account was 23077P3KHK. The rep I spoke to assured me that she would take care of this. Fast forward two weeks, and I still don't have any contracts from the company about my service plan. I made another call to customer service, rep named Evelyn, and she says that the first rep accidentally deleted BOTH accounts, not just the one with the wrong email address. I ask her to reinstate the account with the correct email address. Evelyn assures me she will pass this on to the support team to ask them to re-active the account. I also sent the support team an email and asked them to look for the email sent by Evelyn which which was supposed to explain what happened. That was July 26, and as of this writing, August 18, the support group never responded to Evelyn's email or to my email. Unfortunately, my current supplier contract was going to expire on August 13, so I couldn't wait fo CleanChoice to respond, so I had to sign up with another service provider. And now I've lost a great plan of 7 cents per KWH for 12 months. For all of the above reasons, I gave CleanChoice a 1 start rating.

The best thing I've ever done to have CleanChoice Energy as my supplier not only does my electric bill been cut in over half but fewer blackouts

Very pleased with the service from CleanChoice. Appreciate the information conveyed in emails and, of course, the points and gifts. I had solar panels on my previous home and thought about panels for current house but decided CleanChoice provided the clean energy that I wanted without the upfront cost of panels. Lower energy cost is available from non clean energy sources but we are willing to pay the price for future generastions

Love the idea and how easy it is to sign up. Would just recommend clarifying the rewards program; it’s confusing as is. Do you redeem rewards for gift cards? Or just enter into giveaways? Giveaways aren’t particularly useful, since it’s too unlikely for anything to actually gain anything. Why not offer discounts on the service itself as a reward?

I've always wanted to have clean electricity, but it always cost way more than other suppliers and for me, was just not affordable. CleanChoice provided me with clean electricity on a fixed plan for one year with no fees at a rate that was lower than anyone else and almost $0.05/k/h lower than my utility. Plus, their customer service is excellent.

I appreciate being able to choose a provider that includes sustainable means for electricity. I would have also appreciated knowing when my contract was up to avoid higher fees. As a result I went with IGS because they took the time to make it happen. I am still a huge proponent of wind, water, and solar energy production ni matter what company provides it to me.
