After that they will send you a court letter and force you to pay £948.01. I had waited whole year 2023 they didn't do anything my business rate value still remains exactly same. They trick clients with undocumented verbal contracts and ask for a small fee like £6 and then suggest that due to this fee, the verbal contract is "sealed" and that they can sue via the courts. They have been using same tactics of charging £5.99 initially and demand £950 without reducing the Business rates. I’m not sure how they have been allowed to operate in this manner. If £950 not paid they will threaten to take the matter to court and gets court to serve notice. Unfortunately we missed the court date and had to pay over £1000 and they also wanted us to pay the bailiff money as they have instructed them to collect it even though we are not just received the letter!!!!!!!!!!! For anyone scammed in the past you should do a chargeback on either a debit or credit card and you can go back a few years and the bank or credit card will support you as they are aware of the Clements Agency scam. For anyone new do not use this bogus company. They claim to do the work for £6.99 but in the small print they charge up to £1000 up front. They get about 1 in 250 reductions. The company is run by Susan Leslie who uses the name Stella Todd. The courts are also aware of the scam and Clements have been losing almost all of the cases they are taking business to court over.”

“Stay away from these fraudsters. Say you only have to pay £5.99 and then nothing unless they get you a rates refund. Not true they take the money anyway and do nothing. I sent an email to cancel the same day and they ignored this but luckily did not give them any back details before they could get any money off us. They then sent bullying emails and called our business threatening our staff. They slapped us with a CCJ which has ruined our credit and could force use to close. I am a small business and I work too hard for my money to let this go and have taken legal action and intend to pursue this fully. I have also reported them to my bank, action fraud and watchdog. Disgusting company and people that work for them. Shame on you all. Don't know how you sleep at night knowing you scam people for a living.

Please do not speak to them .Put down the phone if they cold call you. If Clements Agency say they can reduce your business rates please put the phone down immediately. Learn from our experience please?”

SCAM AGENCY , they take £5.99 as a small token for their work but soon after single application to your council try to draw £900 odd pounds for this , which anybody can do by themselves . They tried this on me but I stopped the payment of £5.99 and any further payment. They threatened to take me court which I gladly accepted and won the case and they were asked to pay me £2000 plus compensation , which they have not paid yet and soon I will send Bailiffs to recover my money. Do not be worried about going to court as they are unprofessional and often fail to turn up for hearing.”
