“We're using for about 30 candidates / week and we maybe have an issue a couple times a week where a candidate struggles to figure out the autocomplete or enter their answer. It's pretty low compared to our previous solution, CodeSignal.”

“I think they're going to add a way to automatically send a take-home when candidates apply on our angellist. Once they do that, we will have basically zero complaints. It's been really good.”

“Super advanced IDE - Mostly easy to understand - Neat playback / anti-cheating. We've caught a couple people and basically haven't had a problem with copied code anymore.”

“The question-set was pretty good. Wide range in difficulty. We spent a while going through them before we started interviewing and picked one for junior/new-hires, and another for senior/lateral hires.”

“I didn't realize that there's a version with the interveiwer and one on the interviewee's own time. I think we strongly prefer on the candidate's own time because they don't feel pressured.”

“I like the duplicated feedback mechanism. When we're watching a candidate, it's pretty helpful to see how they navigate around a VS code environment. It becomes pretty clear that some candidates just don't have very efficient dev processes and we can easily filter them out.”

“I like the timer. We don't get questions anymore about how long they're supposed to spend. More importantly, we don't get a result from a candidate days later and we don't know how to judge it because it looks like they spent way more than the allocated time.”

“We have kind of a complex question: it involves checking the networking configuration for a devops scenario. Haven't run into an issue and 50+ interviews in. Will update this review if that changes.”
