“We loved this product it took the gray and green mold spots off our trex deck. Make sure you throughly read the directions. We did it on a cloudy day and it didn't work as well.”

Thank you for the review. Exactily why the Corte Clean label directions state "Works best in direct sunlight"! Are you aware that most composite manufacturers recommend proactively cleaning at LEAST twice per year, Spring and Fall? This will generally prevent "gray and green mold spots" while saving TIME & MONEY. In the future, please consider proactively using Corte Clean as it was designed and intended, "at least twice yearly, spring & fall, or when stains appear". When proactively using Corte Clean, preferably before composites receive moisture and stains occur or saturate, Corte Clean should be used at the “up to 2.5 scoops for routine cleaning” per “1 gallon of water” strength saving money. One can apply Corte Clean proactively in any condition, day or night as long as the composites are thoroughly dry. This is why the Corte Clean label directions state “When Corte Clean no longer turns dirty or discolored, it can be diluted & allowed to dry on weathered composite surfaces. Corte Clean is designed to clean any time it receives moisture. A white residue may remain until thoroughly rinsed. Thoroughly rinse composites prior to using.” The best way is to “thoroughly rinse” is to apply before it rains or snows and the natural moisture rinses it saving you time. While proactively Corte Cleaning doesn’t always have that instant cleaning effect, generally, the deck looks thoroughly clean after it receives moisture and this prevents deep stains that generally cost more time and money to thoroughly clean. “I started to use Corte Clean about 3 years ago on my composite deck. I was using it once a year in the spring. Last year I decided to use in two times; spring and fall. I looked at the deck yesterday after an Iowa winter and it looks like it's brand new. It really is an exceptional product. What I really appreciate though is when I order by phone. “We've used Corte clean several times on our deck and it does an amazing job lifting the dirt, grease and green pollen out of our deck floor. Our deck is ten years old and to be honest we only apply the product once a year and it's seems to be enough. Will continue to use this product, very satisfied with the results.”

“Works as promised. Went from 4 hours with A power washer only to see it come back in a couple of months to Corte a clean which took less than 45 minutes of actual work and six months later, it looks as good as the day I cleaned it! Well Worth the money. I recommend it.”

Corte Clean is available "in stores", it is actually the least "expensive" proven product when one considers that it generally cleans 300 Sq. Ft. and maintains 500 Sq. Ft. when used twice yearly, spring & fall, as most composite manufacturers recommend and the product is designed and intended. Shipping is currently FREE and has been FREE. If it didn't "work all that well", you were likely doing something wrong by not following the product label directions. Regardless, you never contacted us, other than this review, there for, we couldn't help you. Obviously, we don't want any discatisfied Corte Clean customers. Not only are we interested in making sure your composites get thoroughly clean, we want to make sure you are spending less time and money keeping them clean. “Actually was a bit disappointed. Expensive, and didn't clean well. I ended up using Oxyclean and it did a better job.”

Why did you not contact us if you were "a bit disappointed"? Corte Clean actually one of the least "Expensive" proven products for cleaning compsites of mold & mildew, grease & oil, rust & tannins and more. If you used the other product, after using Cort Clean, most of the difficult work had been done. You likely needed to repeat the Corte Clean application process as the label directions state? Let us know when the other product won't get the stains out, as Corte Clean can be much more powerful when used at maximum strength. Obviously, we don't want any discatisfied Corte Clean Customers. “I have a Timber Tech deck that seems to attract mildew in all the little faux wood cracks and crevices. I knew it wasn't maintenance free but if I could go back and pick another decking material I would have opted for a more expensive and harder wood or more mildew resistent composite material. That said, I found Corte Clean a few years ago when I was on the Timer Tech site and they recommended it so I tried it. It works as promised and DOES do a fantastic job at removing the mildew. Takes some elbow grease to clean though and you need to work in sections if you have a large deck. Seems to help prevent the build up of mildew especially in areas of my deck where rain water just won't drain and has to rely on the sun and evaporation unless I get out and squeegee the area. Definitely worth the cost and it's pretty easy and not harsh to use. I don't have a photo but it would be difficult to see any before and after as I don't let the mildew get so bad as to see a "night and day" difference. You'd have to be on the deck to really see the cleaning results but that's what it's for...maintenance. Not to wait until it gets so bad that your deck is blackened by mildew. At that point you'd probably need professional services or at least a pressure washer before using this stuff....”
