DISCATISFIED CORTE-CLEAN® CUSTOMERS (anything less than a 5 Star Review)!

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING A NEGATIVE REVIEW!!!

Please immediately contact Corte LLC if you are not satisfied with our proven product, which has existed for over a decade, with so many positive reviews & re-peat customers. We are a small, 1 product, family run, American made business. We will do our best to help you, as we are EXPERTS in composites & keeping them clean.

We wish to help! (415) 924-9500 X 1
Please leave a message if we fail to answer the phone.
We will call you back ASAP!

We want to make sure you not only get your composites THOROUGHLY CLEAN, we want to make sure you understand how to generally SPEND LESS TIME & MONEY, in the future, keeping composites clean. Corte-Clean® is proven to do this when used "at least twice yearly, spring & fall, or when stains appear" at the "routine cleaning" reduced "up to" 1/2 strength. If mold stains are returning, you are waiting too long to proactively Corte-Clean®, and likely wasting more time, labor and money than necessary! See how little Corte-Clean® can be proactively used to save. THis has the added benefit of being more ECO Responsible!

Corte-Clean® is the most recommended solution for deep cleaning Composite Deck, Dock & Fence of all common stains, NOT JUST those caused by MOLDS. Say goodbye to mold & mildew stains, black spots, grease, oil, rust and more with out the need to expensively purchase and laboriously use multiple non-compatible poisonous and/or corrosive to structural metal cleaning chemicals, especially those that contain oxalic acid or sodium hypochlorite, the active biocide in chlorine bleach which OSHA DOES NOT RECOMMEND FOR MOLD & science by Oregon State University has proven to be ineffective from the wood of which most composites are partially made. Don't be another sucker for "The Chlorine Bleach SCAM"!!!

Absolutely the best cleaner for composite decks that I have found. Just follow the directions (don't get in a hurry; let it set and work) and...voila!...a clean deck. Gets rid of mildew, mold and other dirt that discolors and makes your deck unattractive. Have been a customer for years and will not use anything else because nothing beats Corte Clean!! M D--Ohio

I was no overly impressed with this product for the price and anticipated results. I am looking for something you can mix, brush on with a brush, let set, and then rinse. Vinegar and Murphey's Soap seem to do just as good and a whole lot cheaper and easier to use.

Did a very good job of cleaning things off but you do have to scrub with a brush on a long handle and the mold tends to come back in the same season.

This is why the manufacturers of most composites recommend proactively cleaning at least twice yearly, Spring & Fall. Corte Clean was designed to be used in this fashion. Please see wwww.cortecean.com or call to discuss. (415) 924-9500 x 1

I love Corte-Clean, it is the best deck cleaner. I am so glad I found it.

It has been my "go to" deck cleaner. I usually let the cleaning intervals go too long but can always depend on it taking care of an otherwise severe, black mildewy looking spots all over my composition deck.

Once I learned how to use Corte*Clean I found it to be very effective. It's important to clean the surface dirt off the day before using a water hose and deck brush. At first I had trouble getting all of the Corte*Clean to dissolve, and it would clog the sprayer. Also, I live in a breezy area where the spray would often blow back into my face. Being very sensitive to chemicals, this didn't work for me, so last year I tried applying the solution with a clean mop dedicated exclusively to Corte*Clean. This worked very well, and I plan to continue using this method.

Before I tried Corte Clean, I tried many other deck cleaners. None of them did the job. Corte Clean does the job and does it well. If you need any help in taking care of your deck, all you need to do is call the company. If someone is not immediately available to answer your question, you can count on somebody calling you back with the information you need.

I thought it cleaned my deck well; however, product is lost because it is hard to dissolve. After following directions, each time I have used it, I have found quite a bit of undisolved Corte-Clean. That is the one negative I would mention, besides a rather high price, which has made me consider other alternatives. So I give it a good rating rather than very good.

I've used Corte Clean for 8 years now on the same deck once a year. My deck backs up to a wooded area of hardwoods and pines so it's easy to pick up the dark black staining. This product is so easy to use and even after 8 years my deck still looks brand new. I spray on a light coat after pollen season and let it do its magic. A light brush scrubing and then rinse! I highly recommend to anyone with composite decking

Use Dawn Dish Detergent, is cost pennies, will not harm the color, removes grease, does not dry as fast so you have more time to wash it down after the dirt dissolves and is good for composite decks. Why pay $35.00 ????

Thank you for the review. If you are going to use a surfactant, we would highly suggest using a product that is biodegradable and designed to clean plastic & metal, such as car washing or boat washing soaps that DO NOT contain “ammonia”. See the label for the product you mention, as it contains “Ammonia” as do most dishwashing soaps! Using a “Dish Detergent” that contains “ammonia”, isn’t smart for cleaning composite decking for so many reasons. Ammonia contributes significantly to the nutritional needs of terrestrial organisms by serving as a precursor to food and fertilizers which can exacerbate mold growth. This is NOT “good for composite decks”. Like using sodium hypochlorite based products, for cleaning mold, especially those that contain phosphates, the use of ammonia based surfactants is likely one of the top five worst cleaning ideas facing the composite decking industry. “Why pay $35.00 ????” Would you run diesel fuel in your gas powered vehicle because diesel is generally less expensive? Hopefully not, as it would likely cause a lot of damage, like “Dish Detergent” can cause to composite decks with mold or other fungus problems. As you are likely aware, issues with mold are plaguing the composite industry! Corte Clean isn’t just for cleaning “grease” & oil, it will remove rust & tannins, mold & mildew stains and so much more. Are you aware that most composite manufacturers disclose “weathering” or bleaching/fading of the products they manufacture generally caused by the sun or cleaning chemicals? While Corte Clean can speed up the inevitable weathering/bleaching/fading of composites, as disclosed on its label directions, it is not designed to generally bleach/fade or weather composites beyond what occurs naturally, over time, by exposure to the sun. Unfortunately, most composite owners have a choice, clean and speed up the inevitable bleaching/fading/weathering or live with the stains. Most choose to clean and speed up the inevitable. Fortunately, Corte Clean will “will not harm the color” of composites like chlorine bleach or other sodium hypochlorite based products. Not only are we interested in making sure every customer is satisfied with Corte Clean, we are interested in making sure composite owners understand how to keep them clean at a lower cost, with less time and effort. Corte Clean has been proven to do this for over a decade when properly proactively used. See the many other reviews for proof.

Worked pretty well.Even after following directions, there was some white residue (streaking)that had to be hosed off. Overall, did a good cleaning job on the deck.

Thank you for the review. Corte Clean is designed to have a "white residue" until thoroughly rinsed. This is why the Corte Clean label directions state “When Corte Clean no longer turns dirty or discolored, it can be diluted & allowed to dry on weathered composite surfaces. Corte Clean is designed to clean any time it receives moisture. A white residue may remain until thoroughly rinsed.” The longer one keeps the "white residue" on the composites, the longer Corte Clean will continue to clean and keep composites clean. Are you aware that most composite manufacturers recommend proactively cleaning at LEAST twice per year, Spring and Fall? When proactively using Corte Clean, preferably before composites receive moisture and stains occur or saturate, Corte Clean should be used at the “up to 2.5 scoops for routine cleaning” per “1 gallon of water” strength saving money. One can apply Corte Clean proactively in any condition, day or night as long as the composites are thoroughly dry. Please call us if you wish to thoroughly discuss. (415) 924-9500 X 1

Corte Clean is the best deck wash material I have used. I use it once per year on my Trex deck that was built in 2003 and it keeps the deck looking as good as it did when it was new. I use a commercial grade Karcher (1400 psi) electric pressure washer; wet down the deck; use a pump sprayer to apply Corte Clean solution, and pressure wash clean. Excellent results!

The deck had significant mildew (green) from a wet warm winter. The deck came very clean with just one application and some very light brushing in the heavy spots. There are some vertical areas (railings and posts) that will need a second application, because I did not brush there and it was pretty bad in those spots. Even the areas that seemed like they were clean before using Corte Clean, came up brighter after treatment. I'm pleased with the product. Wish it was a little less expensive.

Did not remove dirt even with hand scrubbing and pressure washing. Do not buy this product.

Thank you for the review. "hand scrubbing" alone generally won't remove deeply saturated or rooted stains from composites with Corte Clean. One should never do "pressure washing" with or without Corte Clean. If you had previously been "pressure washing" your composites, you likely drove the "dirt" and any other stains deeper into your composites exacerbating the problem, making it more difficult to properly Corte Clean in the future. If you rinsed the Corte Clean by "pressure washing", you rinsed away any residual cleaning power. This is why the Corte Clean label directions state “When Corte Clean no longer turns dirty or discolored, it can be diluted & allowed to dry on weathered composite surfaces. Corte Clean is designed to clean any time it receives moisture. A white residue may remain until thoroughly rinsed.” We have NO records of you contacting Corte LLC for us to help you if you weren’t satisfied with Corte Clean. This is why the Corte Clean website states “Corte LLC wants every customer to be satisfied with the results of Corte*Clean®, so they can spend more time enjoying their clean composites and less time & money cleaning them and keeping them clean. If you have any questions before one purchases/uses or after Corte*Cleaning®, especially if the desired results are not reached, especially before posting a negative review, please have the common decency to Contact US!”
