The non availability of telephone contact remains a limiting factor when dealing with Onecall , and today the initial part of the chat was not very clearly written

Not being able to talk to a human is not what I want. I was unable to get access to a computer initially + it’s impossible to find a number to call for anything other than a claim

I found it very frustrating and time consuming to have to type my issue and await replies from agent. However, agent was helpful and resolved the issue. It would have been quicker to be able to verbally speak to an agent though

UPDATE Following on from my poor experience of using the portal. The Customer Service Team rang (Jay3) and apologised for my bad experience. Jay was very helpful and understanding and gave me a number to ring in future straight through to Customer Services. He then offered to waive their admin charge as a gesture of goodwill. This goes to show again how important it is to speak to real people who can understand the fine nuances of a conversation compared to a machine. This has made think differently of One Call Insurance and will definitely use them again in future if the price is right. Original Review. The portal is very difficult to use if you want to check information you have inputted. It is not user friendly. I had to get the quote before I could check details added for an additional driver and couldn't get back to check details. I had to input the same details again.This happened twice! Every time within minutes the price went up from £228 to over £300 just to add an additional driver with the same details until the end of policy in 6 months time. Very, very frustrating! I spoke to the Live Chat and spoke to Tara - who was so helpful and reinputted the details. She got the price down to the original quoted that I had inputted earlier. It was such a difference actually communicating with a real person, (albeit via Live Chat but would prefer phone,) compared to the portal which just kept increasing the price with same info. I was going to change my insurer at renewal - but as Tara was so helpful and I was able to explain everything, I will now stay with One Call if the price is right. However, the insurance is still expensive to add my daughter for occasional use, when she stays with us - as the car is quite old and although in very good condition not worth that much to buy. Please, please let customers speak to real people - the portal is not fit for use in my opinion.

TW9 was a great customer service agent. The platform itself is rubbish though, and for a company called OneCall, it’s crazy how hard it is to call them.

JL4 on the customer chat was very helpful - the three stars rather than the 4 I would have given is because this is the second or third year running that I got a reduced premium after checking with comparison sites and then quoting their prices back to the company. I've been a loyal customer and have had no claims on my policy, so why not offer me the best possible price in the first place? Thank you.

I was very happy and grateful with satisfaction by your customer services, one of your staff EK4 was really helpful with care and how he handled my case. I did bought another car and wanted to cancel my previous cover not knowing that you just need to do it the easy way for which I did not have any idea till I speak to on line advisers where it happened to be EK4, he is great and I appreciated all his kind practice and advice Thank you ever so much

Too expensive. Person who I was talking yesterday- was not very helpful....I might ve used wrong wording and explained to her who I am and why I need to change insurance, but she did not help/advice .... Quite upsetting.
