“Another great service from Contego. This time from Adam N. who was sent when I sighted a mouse in kitchen. He was extremely thorough searching for evidence of the extent of the problem, by removing all skirting boards & pulling out all white goods. He discovered a void in wall behind kitchen cupboard (not easy to reach!) and identified this as main entry point. Adam also explained all the substances he was using to track and eradicate the mice and stuck labels on areas where substances applied. He worked v.hard to block the entry point and check for other possible entry points both inside and outside the property. I felt he was a very conscientious and professional technician and I was very reassured that the problem had been v.thoroughly dealt with.”

“A young man called Lewis came out to my home insurance call as I was nervous I had mice or rats in my loft . I have a big phobia of mice and the thought of a rat had me physically shaking and tearful . Lewis put me at ease in a short space of time , telling me what he will do what he will look for and come back another 2 visits to make absolutely sure I’m clear . His knowledge upon me asking lots of pest control questions were all answered and assured me and I felt actually relaxed about what he did with the powder on plates around the traps to see if they’ve sniffed around that an ultraviolet light shows up . He was very meticulous and didn’t hurry anything and I felt cared for . Was lovely seeing him on the next 2 spaced out accordingly visits to give chance of any unwanted pests coming in and all was clear and cleared down perfectly . I actually feel I could be over my Phobia because of Lewis and the manner he conducted in front of me he was kind caring and very polite and professional . Please could you thank him from me Lisa ward”

“I have had a rat problem for 5 years plus but Contego have put a stop to that!! Chris Moore is the best rat catcher in town he’s professional hard working and very good with communication that’s my reason for a 5 star review couldn’t be happier would definitely recommend this service and if anyone is lucky enough to get this young man be greatfull he won’t leave until the jobs done thanks a lot .”

“I was devastated when I saw a mouse and totally stressed anxious and tearful at my first visit. Straight away I felt the controller was able to respond appropriately ensuring that the situation would be rectified. Areas of activity were identified and bait positioned thankfully there was no further evidence of activity. However I was advised how to reduce pests and avoid any further problems The technician was called Robert he has a very calm way with people and you feel in safe hands Initially it took some time to get to the company as this was through my household insurance however once in contact I needed to wait approximately 7-10 days for an initial visit but after this I had follow up calls scheduled closely together to effectively monitor the situation and I was informed via text link of the date and time of appointments”

“Big shout out to Joe for a very swift and easy removal of my hive 🐝! He asked if i had a problem with mice in the past as he saw evidence…. He gave me advice on what type of mesh to buy to prevent future visits. Have to say i’ve had other companies in to help with the mice situation and it seem’s i’m still having problems… so thanks to this company i should be mice free… and wasp free 🙏🏿 Would definitely recommend this company.”

“Joe from Contego dealt with my rat problem from removal of deceased pest to laying traps to ensure there wasn't any more then blocking up any potential entry points on the property. “Matty visited my property today after we had an influx of wasps in the loft. He went above and beyond locating the nest. Due to the entry point being in the most complicated place there was, he ended up climbing on our roof with all his kit and sorting it that way. Great service and a really nice man. Thank you.”

“Scott attended to tackle a wasp nest in our loft. He was punctual, very pleasant and informative. Due to the size and awkward position of the nest, as well as the tricky access, he required the assistance of a colleague and Joe arrived. Both lovely lads and a credit to your company! “I needed a deep clean and the two gents that came out where fantastic. Very friendly, hard working and just made me feel at ease abt falling behind with things. They turned up on time nothing was to much and took all my rubbish and junk away. Would highly recommend this company. Thank you gents.”

“John arrived when he said he would, was highly professional, made sure checked both inside and outside of the property for the wasp nest and took his time to find the best approach, which I have to say was slightly awkward, but he did a fantastic job and the nest has now been dealt with, I cannot recommend highly enough, very thorough, thanks for getting this sorted so quickly!!”
