“PIE BOX Ideal lockdown comfort food, when you cannot buy things to make your own, or run out of steam get someone else to do te work and deliver to your door. But you know it is not "fastfood"!”

“Owing to Covid-19 we had to use Alan Rickman's line from Robin Hood Price of Thieves and "call off Christmas" which meant changing the meat order. However, we did have the sirloin of beef and it was magnificent. We ended up freezing half of it but the piece we ate was beautifully lean and meltingly tender. In a previous order I have also had the smoked streaky and back bacon - which is also excellent. In fact in all my orders to date I cannot think of anything to adversely comment upon. All the best for 2021.”

“I would love to write a review but as our Christmas plans were cancelled, the turkey had to go straight into the freezer hopefully to reappear at Easter! However it arrived well packaged, with lovely fresh herbs and on time so that was a good start.”

“I just wanted to thank you for your superb turkey. The flavour was wonderful. It served 4 dinners and 2 lunches – a total of 41 portions! Good value in anyone’s book. That does not include the gallons of stock I now have in the freezer and the bits picked off the carcass after stock making for the dogs. Not a speck of that bird was wasted. I shall be back next year.”
