“Mostly pastry which was very hard on the outside and undercooked on the inside with very little meat and a dubious gravy with some vegetables. One of the worst pies I have ever eaten and at this price unforgivable. Avoid.”

“All of the meat & mince we ordered was absolutely fantastic, did a blind taste test against supermarket mince and it wasn't even close! Sardines were excellent also. Sadly the pies had either rapeseed oil or sunflower oil in I can't quite remember which so we didn't end up having those.”

“The produce is fabulous and I am reassured about the animal welfare standards. That is very important to me. The prices are comparable to other similar farms and delivery charges less than most. However, this is my second order and I am finding that the frozen option is not very suitable for me. I live on my own and have to separate the packages into single servings. It also limits what I can purchase.”

“I recently received my third order from yourselves. As with previous orders, delivery by DPD was on time, and the box was sturdy and well packed, very heavy (obviously). Note: don't go too mad on the quantity of the ice packs, etc, it takes a while to dispose of it all afterwards! The quality, and selection of the products is excellent, very tasty and flavoursome meat, with fat edging that melts in the mouth - YUMMY! reminiscent of my childhood. Quantities are just right for myself and my husband, as it's just the two of us. I hope to try out some different, and unusual cuts (hopefully they will be in stock!) and look forward to enjoying a good variety with future orders. Thank you.”

“The product seems fine, but two deliveries have arrived partially defrosted which is not acceptable. We are perhaps beyond the limit of reliable delivery (Fife in Scotland) with the packaging used. So we won’t try again, sadly.”

We operate using a third party courier service, which means we sometimes face delivery issues that are out of our control. Unfortunately being in Scotland does mean that the delivery service is slightly longer. We are currently trialing several courier services to see which service is most reliable for our customers. “It's great to have sulphite free bacon, for which we should be very grateful. It's been a cause of extreme annoyance for me that most organic companies selling bacon have the gall to put chemicals into their bacon, known to cause cancer, and still call it organic. It just does not make sense. The packaging for the order is very good, and recyclable. The meat is great, very tasty.”
