“So far I have tried the streaky dry cured back bacon- sorry this was actually unpleasant, far too fatty and left the pan with a great deal of residue. The back bacon was ok but no better than M&S. The pork chop disappointing. The DR rib-eye steak again disappointing - not as good as Sainsburys finest. Overall I am extremely disappointed as the duck we had at Christmas was fabulous and I had high hopes. .”

“Acceptable but not great. Would rather delivered fresh than frozen; items were starting to defrost. Sausages not good rest of the meat was fine but expensive for what there was. I will not be making another order.”

Thank you for your feedback, our business model is to send frozen meat as this means there is a lot less food wasted. We are working on new packaging to reduce any defrost issues we were experiencing. Sorry to hear you did not like your sausages I will pass this information onto our butchery manager.

“I'm not a huge fan of salmon generally but these fillets are significantly better than standard fish on the market. Pale salmon colour and firm flesh. Recommended”

“Fantastic tasting organic meat (never had a burger like it): grass-fed beef, retired dairly beef and a great range of cuts (short ribs & osso buco to name two unusual ones), sausages and burgers not full of "padding" and great tasting nitrate-free bacon. Sustainable packaging and sensible delivery prices. What is not to like?”
