“Nice thick bacon but only 5 rashers between 3 caused rows. Cider sausages lacked seasoning. And I’m pretty sure I was meant to get chicken drumsticks too in my box that didn’t materialise. Wouldn’t use again. W’s considering before delivery, but now won’t.”

“Best meat we’ve had in a long time. No excess water, tastes very different to supermarket meat or even other higher quality meats we’ve had. I love that it’s organic standards and better animal welfare.”

“Wonderful Christmas Goose. Arrived on time as ordered and well boxed with frozen packs so we were able to keep it like that - refreezing some of the packs as needed - until we were ready to prep it for cooking. Stuffed with prunes, onions and herbs it was the central feast of Christmas Day in our house. Succulent and distinctive in its taste served with spiced red cabbage and veg roasted in the goose fat/dripping- and bottles of red wine. A special dish for a special day.”

“We had a Turkey breast with trimmings for Christmas. Delivery was really efficient and communication clear. The meat was well packaged with ice packs ensuring the frozen elements of the delivery remained frozen. The turkey was lovely and well worth spending a bit more on than we would have done in the supermarket. The gravy that came with the box was also delicious. The only let down were the pigs in blankets and the stuffing. The stuffing was almost inedible; very dry and overly peppery with a weird vegan type taste- it didn’t taste like stuffing at all. The sausages seemed to be produced from the same mix and tasted similarly dry and peppery. I would order meat again but not the extras.”

“My interaction with CF was marred by a poor performance by the Courier. My initial shipment was "damaged and dumped". The company then offered me a refund, I had to decline this so close to 24/12 and push for a replacement order. Looking for an organic crown of turkey, so near the close for Christmas is not my idea of fun. This in turn had two side effects, awaiting the second delivery was anxiety-producing and as the side of salmon, ordered for a guest with dietary restrictions was to be absent from the replacement shipping, I had to drive 80 miles to source from a "local" seller. The shipping charges were high and for a before 1200hrs delivery, so were incorrect anyway. I was led to believe the delivery miss was a rare occurrence, however, when I checked the reviews it is evident the Company needs to change its Delivery service. Shame on me, if I had checked beforehand I would have chosen another supplier. The turkey crown itself was ok, but not startling, nicely shaped crown, moist and with some flavour but overpriced at £100. My other 5 online food deliveries were all on time and delivered intact.”

“Surpassed expectations! Delivery was fantastic and the quality of the turkey was obvious, even before cooking. The entire family enjoyed the Christmas lunch and it was a huge success. We were 8 and with so much leftover for dinner and the coming days. The instructions to cook were spot on and the ease of the prepared real gravy and pig in blankets meant a stress-free cook with minimal prep. Highly recommend! Will order from this organic farm again.”
