“very nice, I just wish all of their products were separated into around 125g to 150g portions as that way I don't have to defrost the entire package and then cook half and refreeze the other half. The other option to cook the whole thing and then refrigerate the remainder for a later meal is not good as the taste changes in the fridge. One last feedback I can give is about the added sugar on the bacon, I assume people who buy organic are health conscious so adding processed sugar to a product that is targeted at this group seems questionable especially as the product is marketed as organic and nitrate-free, both of which are qualities which are supposed to make it healthier to consume. I buy organic meat for health reasons rather than for taste; not sure if other people do the same.”

I will pass on your feedback about the small pack size, but sadly the sugar added to the bacon helps with the curing process we do only add the necessary amount for preserving and for taste. “Recently received the meat box and was very impressed! It arrived at the time expected and was extremely well packed - it was clear that consideration had been given to the fact that the box contained perishable food. The meat itself looks excellent and there was more content than I had anticipated - we had the beef joint for lunch on Fathers Day and everyone agreed it was delicious! Many thanks!”

“Everything was very tasty except we did not like the bacon. We prefer smoked bacon and yours seemed virtually tasteless. The joint of beef is still in our freezer but appears to be a beautiful piece of meat which we will enjoy soon with other members of our family.”

“Well packaged but I’m now left with a load of stuff to get rid of. The gel is hard to empty out of the ice bags. Sadly for me the chicken broth soups were inedible- way too much onion in it - it was like onion broth & the veg in it was tasteless cubes of what looked like turnip. I think it’s probably a great site for big meat eaters to buy in bulk for a month but I won’t be back sorry.”

“I have not used the meat products (rose veal)as yet, however, the delivery etc was excellent, and arrived on time. Is there a way of returning the ice gel packs for recycling/reuse? Seems such a waste to dispose of them if not needed at home.”
