“I was very disappointed with the amount of plastic packaging and plastic ice bags that came with the order. I felt very bad - I was hoping I am doing the right thing for the environment. Also, the driver didn’t ring the bell but thew the whole box over the fence.”

Hi Barbara We are very sorry that the DPD driver did not deliver to your door, this should certainly not be happening - can you please contact hello@coombefarmorganic.co.uk so we can look into this for you? Regarding the plastic surrounding the meat, at present this is the only packaging we are allowed to use as recommended by the Food Standards Agency to keep the meat safe to eat. It is fully recyclable and we are exploring alternatives. Equally the plastic ice packs can be recycled, or they can be returned to us to use again. Many thanks Jemima

“Partridge was perfect for Saturdays dinner party (celebrating QE life) The pork made a great massaman curry , very tasty. The boned leg of lamb is now in the freezer for a Sunday lunch. Delivery was on schedule and packed safe.”

“Great service, asked a couple of questions & received a super quick reply couldn’t have been more helpful. Delivered fairly quickly, well packed. Bought duck carasses to make bone broth for my poorly dog, had loads of meat on them. The only down side for me was there is a caveat of £40 order so ended up with ordering more than I actually wanted however my husband throughly enjoyed the add on, lamb he said best he had ever had!”

“Superb selection of meat. So far I have only eaten the large lamb steaks which were very good and look forward to tasting the rest. Only concern was the meat was beginning to thaw out when delivered despite the substantial packaging. Fantastic offer using my Yeo Valley points.”

“I was buying powdered organic bone broth which, as anyone who has ever bought it, knows tends to congeal even when stirred. This product, on the other hand is so much better. Simply defrost, heat and enjoy! Highlh recommended to those who like maximum protein. Delicious!”

“When I buy meat, I tend to buy organic. I received this meat box via an offer from another retailer, the cost would probably be prohibitive otherwise. The meat was sustainably packaged. Even though I took receipt of it from the driver, the burgers had already defrosted, so I had to use those immediately. The rest was still frozen and so I put most in my freezer and haven't used it yet. The beef joint was cooked as a Sunday roast and was very tasty and easy to chew.”
