What an asinine company to do business with! My car was in a collision and was eventually towed to Copart by the other driver's insurance company, Mendota (to save money on storage fees while waiting for the claims adjuster). Copart removed the license plates from my car and did not reattach them, nor did they give the plates to the tow driver taking my car to the body shop. When I asked the woman at Copart why they removed the plates, I was told "we have to remove everything to take photos of the vehicle". Really??? I called Copart to advise my daughter would be picking up the plates and asked if they would be ready by a certain time. The woman I spoke with was very evasive, stating she didn't work in the yard and basically had no idea where the plates were and that someone would have to find them; but apparently not her. What a poorly ran company. If it's Copart's policy to remove car tags, they should be responsible enough to ensure the plates are reattached or at the very least, give them to the person or driver picking up the vehicle.

I’ve bought about a dozen cars from Copart half of them had errors in the description four of the cars that I’ve bought and had the wrong odometer reading in the ad and two of the cars had severe hail damage that was not disclosed nor visible in the pictures they’re standing right in front of the car. Why can’t they write down that it had hail damage and of course they won’t do anything about it because their policy only takes care of them and screws the customer, I would avoid them at all cost. I’ve done business with them for years and I’ve just gotten screwed over and over again. I don’t know why I’ve put up with it but I’m not anymore.

I’ve been buying and selling vehicles through Copart for about three months now, and it’s been a frustrating experience. They’ve repeatedly provided inaccurate information about the vehicles. For example, I purchased a vehicle listed as having a clean title, only to find out it came with a salvage certificate. When I raised the issue, their response was simply, “Sorry, we messed up, but there’s nothing we can do.” To make matters worse, they sold me a vehicle with a lien on it, and now I can’t even sell it at another Copart location.

As customer buying 12 or more items you always going to have an issue on every single item, 4 or more hours to pick up the car even with 8am appointment first on the line, 3 hours to pick up paperwork, 1 hour on the phone waiting for operator and get cut automaticly, etc etc… Why not buying somewhere else? Simple there’s no options this is a monopoly. Hidden fees, rude people, missing parts you can notice on pictures after pick up, phishing descriptions ‘Run and drive on cars with no engine or transmission plus plus

If I could give a Zero I would. They Refused to refund the $250.00 online fee. Well it wasn't my fault it took from 3/28 - 4/11 for approval. and still not done. I said enough and please return me our money. They said they have a 7 day no refund policy. Pretty Sad in my book. I guess Willis Johnson/Net worth 3.2 billion USD needs my $250.00 to go out to lunch! Never will we ever do business with CoPart

I can say that CoPart does a service for Insurance companies and themselves, but little for a buyer. While insurance companies badger insureds to pay the least they can, they also make every effort to get as much out of their wrecked cars as possible. CoPart facilitates that by providing the most limited information and the least amount of help or cooperation, while weedling and gouging for every dime they can get, with a fee for everything, to as stupid as a fee to actually come in and pay for a vehicle, versus online, even if there is a dispute. Basically I have found that if you are willing to accept that you will be treated like something that should be scraped off their shoe, with some effort, you can, if lucky, end up with a car, that is just marginally better than buying from some individual. CoPart provides limited ability to communicate with them even with the lovely website (where they will press and press to upgrade the membership.)Nothing will be in your favor, help from them is a dream that won't come true.
