I started with Price Club in 1988, so obviously a long time member. Their decline in customer service is like a rock dropped out of a plane. I did not renew my membership at the end of January 2023.

I had Colorado Living (Jacuzzi) come out to give me an estimate, they were profession, I told them I was on a budget. I just wanted a tub to shower conversion, all said and done the estimate came in at $11,000 then they took off their sign right now special all in all with a call to the office it came in at $8,900, high in my opinion but I am new in this process. I told them I needed some time to think about it and check into other options. A friend told me to look into Costco, I found out that Costco uses this company. I email them about using my Costco membership to see what my price would be. I was told it would be higher because they only quote premium products to Costco customers. I contacted customer service sent them my information their response was to have a representative from Colorado Living contact me. I used Costco Home Services before to install my new furnace for my home, the sales person came out gave me all my options from the lower end to the higher end, I made a great choice for my budget and could not be happier. I rely on Costco to vet out companies for me, prior to this I really thought that you guys were looking out for me. In the time of economic instability I think having all options presented to your customers would build loyalty, very disappointed. I will still be a Costco customer but I do not think I will be using the home services or recommending them to others.

This review is for the tire department section of Costco Located in Almaden, On Friday January 28th, 2023 we prepaid for the order for tire replacement the next day Saturday January 29th, 2023 with the sales person LLoyd E. The sales person stated to the customer that order will be done the next day, just wait in line the next day. When the customer walked into the store the Costco Tire department informed that there was no appointment scheduled, they asked to wait for two hour for the tire replacement, and then the staff stated that they could no longer can help complete the tire replacement. Since we did not make an appointment at the store. The staff names were Daniel and Bryan. They were speaking rudely to the customer and did not solve the problem. The customer asked to speak management. It was really frustrating, since he customer prepaid for the order, and it was not explained to the customers that they should make appointment for the next day. The customer were unhappy with the staff working at the tire store, since they were not willing to help the customer, their interaction with the customer was not helpful, negative, and unprofessional. This customer was in urgent need of Tire Replacement. At the end of the two hour wait, the lead manager of the tire department, named Shannon, spoke to the customer, and directed the customer to another store location to have the tire replacement completed. The manager, was able to provide solutions to the customer, but the Staff stated that they stated No, they can't do anything to solve the problem. The customer has been member of the Costco whole sales for 15 years and did not expect to be treated negatively by the store staff.

We ordered furniture through Costco.com, a couch, loveseat, and chair. It took 1 chair, 4 loveseats, and 6 couches before we got furniture without visible damage. Returned within 8 months due to sagging seats and one armrest collapsing. Now to getting our money back. Due to cc fraud, we closed the original account it was charged on. Costco agreed to refund by cheque for all 3 items. They processed cheques for 2 but made a credit (which should not have been accepted but was) to the cc. Called several times and was told it was being fixed and we would be updated all along the way by supervisors but heard nothing except crickets chirping. Each time we call, we are told something different and the last supervisor’s excuse was that she was just coming into the situation so wouldn’t be held accountable for any previous communication. Still waiting for a cheque that we were told we would have in 7-10 days when I was emailed about the cheque being mailed. Called customer service and was told they’re not sure why we were told that as standard procedure is 3-5 weeks. When we originally set up the return, we were told 3-5 weeks from furniture pick up date but now we’re being told it’s 3-5 weeks from cheque mailing date. Not only do I not trust anything I’m told by Costco.com, I now know they can’t be trusted to fix a mistake they made. This experience from start to finish has taken almost a year so far and we’re still not done while we wait for our refund. What a nightmare dealing with this company has been. So much for their great customer service. We have a much different definition of great and reliable. We have been fed nothing but untruths all along and then told we just misunderstood each and every lie we were fed over several hours of wasted time on the phone with them

When it comes to clothes... Costco sucks for "man" size... 2xl is the biggest.. but there's a lot of big men that shop the stores that would like to be included on clothing deals.

Beware: CostCo in Henrico Virginia installed tires on my vehicle that resulted in gouges and scratches on all my factory aluminum wheels. After reporting this to the service manager he declared that he knew what had caused it in their process and asked me to complete a claim for a remedy. Today the claims department has declared that nothing they do could create the damage in spite of the service manager admitting wronging when reported. I am left to repair the rims myself. I patiently waited over a month for the claim to be filed and processed for this shameful declaration by CostCo to a long time customer.

Everything. I've shopped at Costco since 1999 and I've seen a huge shift since 2019. Poor customer service, a defeated looking staff and way less the number of employees. Is the floor clean? Yes, but the culture of Costco has taken a huge turn for the worse. I asked to speak to a manager at the Scottsdale,AZ location and he was so unprofessional that I immediately canceled my membership. My family canceled theirs the same day. Something needs to change there and I blame the top. I'm in a leadership/management position at a large corporation and I'm disappointed and disgusted from what I experienced at my last Costco visit.

I just had a Costco delivery for a 77” tv and I couldn’t have been more pleased with their service! The delivery was about a week after we ordered it online. It came from Memphis, Tn and I’m about 100 miles north. They are the only delivery that I know of that gives a 3 hour window of time. They emailed us prior then called on the way and arrived actually about 10 minutes before 11:30. The driver, Bigfoot, was pleasant and professional. I definitely give 5 stars on delivery.

I love shopping at Costco but I was very disappointed tonight at approximately 5:30 p.m. to see only three full checkouts open when the store was packed with long lines. I understand that most Monday nights are probably not that crowded but it is the week of Thanksgiving and Black Friday savings. There were multiple full service checkouts that were closed. There was a lady encouraging people to do self checkout but I am not going to do self-checkout when I'm spending over $900 at one time. The member service is lacking.

They lied for over a week about mattress and box haul away. Elderly mother was told they did haul away after purchase, however, it was not close to the truth! They finally said only in California, did not disclose this up front. Returning it...

Never buy warranty with Costco, their conceirge services is a joke, it literally took me 6 hours to file a claim with Costco.

Zero stars as far as customer service goes in Naperville Tire Center. And ridiculous that you can NOT reach a person for a online REFUND . What a hassle . Had to go somewhere else to get my tires. Got Tired of waiting

Costco purchased the logistics and order fulfillment of Sears Appliances. They delivered a GE refrigerator on June 20, 2022. We had been waiting on delivery since March 23, 2022. When the new refrigerator was plugged in it made a terrible noise. It clearly was not working properly. When we asked the delivery people to put back the old refrigerator they jumped in their truck and drove away. We have scheduled 17 delivery appointments which have all been cancelled. We have not had a working refrigerator for 4 months and counting. I am at my wits end. The customer service is beyond bad. This is an unbelievable situation. All we want is a working refrigerator.

Do they discriminate against customers? Had security guard in Littleton CO literally followed me around and harass me and also took it the next level and followed me around in my condominium living complex and then had his denver police friends help him out as well.( j.Dennis DPD ) He said he was a former police officer. Now working security at Costco. What do we do about that sale? Making people do things they otherwise wouldn’t shouldn’t do. Entrapment, which is what I don’t ^ know was to come next. Harassment can cause problems. Very overconfident he could do it and get away with it. Only one lifestyle goes that far as far as I know. Did I read they were very LGBTQ friendly ? I’ll somewhat give him credit here though. He did at first try to be my friend by helping me move my big heavy door into my place and then point out where he lived . Maybe I wad supposed get the idea and to go over there and have some beers. I don’t know. But they are pushy and hate rejection . Maybe it was my fault. I could have never paid the favor back and didn’t realize it. Yes I called corporate ( thanks in advance for the tip), but their kind of discrimination Is so one way closet protected it gets silent when it happens that I didn’t get any kind of answer. It is their right to do it. Nobodies right to do it to them . Advantage closet. Taboo subject thanks to the one ways closet protection. Sorry , but they should be treated like the rest of us . Open transparent and not be allowed to blackmail harrasss entrap or rule in ANY one way fashion like they do. Closet victim lying about victimhood manipulating reasons or not. NOT better. It is called equal rights.

Costco is becoming horrible and non trustworthy. They are putting limitations and obstacles on returning defected items, by applying time constraint and other pressure points. Costco has applied a policy that punishing customers by keeping track on returning more than 3 items, and tell the customer "you have a record in our system!!". Through the years the Costco workers became really rude and reckless in customer service and treating the customers without dignity and no sense of service, rudely. prices in Costco have lost its competitive lower price and now is much much higher than competition; to a level that does not justify buying at bulk sizes.

This post deals directly with the tire center at Costco on Woodruff Road location. I purchased a set of tires and then went back to have them rotated and balanced, only to have the tire center break my trailing arm on my 2017 ford escape. I had no issues with my car until I took it back to them for the tire rotation and tire balance. I got there at 9:40 am and the car was pulled into the bay at 9:55AM and they didn't finish with my car until 12:49 PM. I filed a claim with the store and showed pictures but no one has returned the call or neither has Costco owned up to the error that they have caused . WARNING DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!

We receive a catalog that we don’t open/don’t want. The site, after answering five verification questions, leads me nowhere. MAKE CATALOG CANCELLATIONS an option as I never asked for it.

I was given a Costco giftcard. The website says that you can shop in stores with a giftcard. I was refused entry. Then, I went to member services and their response was "who would tell you that". You know you can't go over the amount on your giftcard wihtout cash". I didn't have any cash. I went four dollars over and they did take my debit card but no without making me feel like I was breaking the rules. I would have liked to been welcomed. It would have been nice for someone to ask me to be a member. Instead I was treated as someone not welcome and suspicious.
