I was a fan, went up to bat for them in most disputes against Cricut as a whole because I had absolutely no issues. I was able to learn at my own pace without being forced to purchase anything extra to use it (UNTIL NOW). The fact that they have now found a way to force you to pay to use the software rather you purchase the unnecessary membership or not has given me all the reason I nees to go with any other company EXCEPT cricut! This is completely maddening! Not only is this absolutely unnecessary but the system has so many issues that it hardly ever works correctly. I only need design space to upload, size and create. I don't use ANY cricut fonts, or images. I will never buy another cricut product! The only thing useful cricut brand I own is my machine. Tools, vinyl, mats its all over priced and over rated!! Way to completely screw up a good thing Cricut!

LOVE cricut, but I wanted to try the subscription $10/mnth for a month, so I did and exactly a month later, I cancelled my subscription, it said it was cancelled but 7 months later I realized they still have been charging me. I called the customer service line, and they said their policy is that they can only refund 2 months. Not fair and my fault for trusting them but this is ridiculous. They should be able to see when I used the machine last and decide if they can refund the full amount or not. I have not used mine since I cancelled the subscription, so I have been paying them for nothing.

Cricut customer service is anything BUT service! A complete waste of time. I have what they call a "Legacy" (older) machine that I spent a lot of money on and now they cannot or will not help with issues. I called hoping to get live help and was immediately switched to email communications. Took 9 days before they finally told me that they would do nothing but give me $50 towards the purchase of a new machine. Buyer beware!

Customer service is TERRIBLE. Waited in cue for 2 hours to finally get ahold of and talk to someone. I placed an order 4/26 and today is 5/19 and my order has yet to even be shipped. When j check the status it says processing and when talking to customer service they are absolutely no help and tell me it should be shipped any day now they’ve been telling me that for 2 weeks now and still nothing. Not willing to do any partial refunds or overnight shipping. Shipping labels have been created since Friday 5/15 and no one is able to tell me when it’s going to actually ship. Pretty disappointed and I find it unacceptable

The Cricut promises an awful lot of things that it does not deliver. The majority of materials it promises to cut, will not work, and will void your warranty if you use them. It does not deal with detail very well, and even basic shapes often inexplicably scuff, rip or cause the machine to go into a tizzy and destroy the mat. The design space was designed by primary school children, and cannot perform basic functions that a paper crafter would expect such as snap grids or the ability to align an image on a page. It is also very glitchy. The mats lose stickiness very quickly and are very expensive to replace. Everytime I try to use this machine for very basic paper-cutting functions, I end up swearing and giving up. The worst part is the customer service. After explaining my problems with my machine not being fit for purpose, they just point blank refused to deal with my issue or return my machine. They instead concentrate on trying to find ways that you have voided your warranty. I am amazed that I was unable to find this information before buying my machine, and feel that Crricut have done a very good job of paying for positive reviews. If you look at all of the glowing reviews on blogs etc, they are all sponsored or in exchange for a free review.
