“A friend recommended I try Horizon as they had booked several holidays with them and they kept saying they were different. I took ages to make my mind up and asked so many questions, I do not know how they had the patience. Ended up booking at a much better price, amazing service and all my documents were printed and sent to me before I flew. Really old style customer service, I would not book anywhere else now and have highly recomended this company to my friends and family. Really personal service but lower priced than the internet I am still quite surprised! I have never written a review before but this was exceptional.”

“Fantastic service from Andrew at Horizon , I cannot praise him enough, he went out of his way to get us the best deal on our Cuba holiday for next year. He made the booking of our holiday , which can sometimes be an arduous experience , real fun and very enjoyable. I would thoroughly recommend that when you book your next holiday, you make contacting him your starting point. Five star service.”

“Apartment driver could not drop as of at the apartment that we had to walk ten minutes on foot to reach the apartment . The apartment was a disgrace the staff of horizon inspector should check these apartment out from time to time so they can see the conditions there in.There was a smell of gas coming out of the gas bottle under the unit which should of been replace which was not till this was brought to there attention.Then the bathroom bath badly chipped was coated with gloss paint inside which was peeling.Sink needed a new washer, toilet bowl needed bleaching , would you say this is expectable ?.NO.”

Hi Maria - Thanks for your review. I must confess to being rather puzzled about the contents as much of what you say is very different to what you put in writing. All our properties are inspected without notice throughout various times of the year and the property you were staying at generally gets the highest reviews and safety scores. Infact it is a trip advisor certificate of excellence winner. We also monitor tripadvisor to ensure reviews are consistent which the majority are and the complex continues to receive favourable reviews. At no time was there any report of a gas leak from the bottle (as you advised in your letter), if there had been the entire complex would have been emptied and you expressly stated in your letter to us that the apartments refused to change it! I concede the apartment was not clean enough for our standards on arrival, but the moment you spoke to reception a cleaning team were sent and a full deep clean took place. I note that you were very satisfied once this had been done (within a few hours of arrival). Your transfer was GPS tracked and the records show it stopping directly at the drop off point for the complex. It actually stopped in the car park right opposite the main door (aprox 100 metres) I also thank you very kindly for the feedback you gave at reception about how much you enjoyed your holiday. “Booking through Horizon direct was very easy with a very helpful member of staff to help you with any questions that you may have in regards to your holiday. I was able to book seats together through them as well. There was no hard sell and it was a pleasure to book my holiday to Cuba with them.”

“Holiday was cancelled due to the on going flight disruption in Egypt. Was not refunded the complete amount that was paid for our deposit, £5 short. Did really get s answer when I telephoned.”

“I have booked several holidays through Sharm Travel with Nicola bel elHadidy and always had excellent service off them. Prices have always beaten their competitors but their Customer Service is second to none, no matter what time of day they have always got back to me . “My friends suggested this company and I have to say they are the best in travel. I have been travelling for 40 plus years and never recieved the service that I have done from Andrew. The rest of the team are exactly the same and the prices are better than my local agent or booking direct online with Thomas Cook. Highly recomend this company.”
