They forced me to invest even after I didn't see any returns, and when I refused to do so any longer, their attention and persistent emails dwindled, which increased my level of skepticism.

Customer services say they have no use of their own reference numbers provided for the returns.

When I asked for a price match they initially tried to suggest the competitor 'didn't accept returns' which was nonsense and then said 'we don't price match with this retailer'.

Lied to about reasons they wouldn't price match including returns policy (which was better than Currys), the competitor was not a UK company (they were) etc.

Customer service was no help at all as they weren't aware on what the policy on returns, exchanges and faults were.

Absolutely terrible experience for returns from an online purchase.

You: I have an e-mail from returns/customer service asking me to come on here and give further details, the printer is 2 months old and I want it returned and a refunds can take it into the shop and hand it back if that suits You: Just to add this is getting a bit frustrating as I have been on here twice before and spoke to technical people who couldn't repair it and the Canon who couldn't repair it either Manu: I have checked and found that the order was placed in March and as per policy we can return the faulty product within 21 days of purchase.

I tried to do an on-line return of a Samsung tablet, (you get 28 days). I got an email saying it was too late, you only get 21 days! Customer help person said it was definitely 28 days and that I should take it into a Currys shop and that they are too lazy to process returns if they can avoid it. I took it into Norwich Currys and 5 minutes got a refund!

Samsung explained that they would need to send someone out to verify the fault before issuing a returns authorisation, they would get back to me with a date.

Unbelievably unhelpful and essentially did nothing for me except suggesting I go to the Carlisle store as that store is set up for returns whereas Workington is collect only.
