"After discovering the family Coat of Arms (CoA), an interest grew in obtaining a signet ring that had family meaning. However, not thinking it was possible to turn something as intricate as a CoA into a piece of jewelry, an internet search uncovered Custom Made. As a retired systems\/software engineer, Custom Made\u2019s process immediately captured my attention. Their approach helped to formulate a newly found jpeg graphic (see Original CoA) into a concept, leading to a ring face with the CoA and shoulders containing the different charges (see Initial Design). The results of the design exceeded the possibility of obtaining custom jewelry for an acceptable price point. So much so, it raised curiosity to pursue the next step seeing a 3D rendering of the ring. By knowing what was possible in the concept phase, a gemstone was added to the shield and additional moto text was added to the banner (see Final 3D Rendering). The results from production process along with superior craftmanship created a work of art that will be proudly passed down through future generations (see QA Final Product). The Custom Made process helps the customer turn an idea into reality by working with different staffers responsible for their respective concept, design, modeling & production phases. Even though the phases force a lot of communication allowing the ring details to evolve, it\u2019s still possible for small details to get miss represented in the final product. Case in point, the shoulder designs were reversed for this ring during production. Even with the option of having the flaw corrected by reproducing the ring, the final product created by the artisans at Custom Made was overwhelming when seeing a highly intricate design brought to life in 14k gold. The resulting ring has easily withstood daily wear and tear over the past several months (see Worn Product)."
