“CustomMade not only provided me with the best product, but the best experience on a customer-service basis that I have ever had. The project is without a doubt the most visually stunning ring I could’ve ever imagined, but I would like to part words on their service. I was looking to design a custom engagement ring for my significant other and was very new to the diamond scene. Not only did CustomMade not take advantage of my naivety (which I am sure I expressed through the many questions I asked), but they provided resources to educate myself on the industry and best practices so that I felt included and well-informed. After several months and a few revisions, my project concluded with a beautiful pieces as expected. What was not expected was the gratifying experience and newfound knowledge I now have thanks to them. I approached CustomMade with the limited perspective of those who are my immediate circle and what I could find online. I left with an understanding of the stones, cuts, and all the intricacies of my project that supersedes even my closest relatives, such that I can now educate them WITH EVIDENCE (the project is gorgeous). The knowledge bases they provided were crafted just as expertly as the ring itself. I will be going to CustomMade in the future for jewelry that I KNOW will be just as genuine and heartfelt as the inspiration behind it.”

“See below my review from earlier March. Since then, the team has been working with me to make the appropriate changes- the ring currently is with them and I will plan to make an updated review when I receive the ring back. Thanks. I recently received the custom ring I ordered, and unfortunately, the overall quality has been quite disappointing. -Upon arrival, I noticed several scratches and marks on the outside, which was disheartening. -Moreover, the gemstones don't meet the expected quality, one lacking the opalescent look I anticipated. -My request for a 2.5mm band thickness, or preferably smaller to match my 2mm wedding band, was not met. A professional measured it at 2.3mm, and I was charged for more gold used than necessary and initially quoted for. I would appreciate appropriate compensation for this discrepancy in less gold used. -The ring's uneven thickness is a significant concern; when viewed from the side, one part measures 1.72mm, while the other side is 2.05mm. This inconsistency visibly affects the overall quality and is disconcerting. *my biggest concern* -Additionally, the sides lack the desired roundness, and I would prefer a more polished and rounded finish. Given the overall quality concerns, especially at a price twice that of other quotes I received, I'm disappointed. I kindly request either a refund or assistance in rectifying these issues promptly.”

“They were great! They helped me at every step of the process and were very knowledgeable (despite my asking to go back and fiddle with the concept several times). Pricing was pretty transparent, and they accommodated that aspect as well. The ONLY negative I can say is that the final product will have a tiny maker's mark of the CustomMade symbol inside the ring. This was not in any renders of the ring prior, and it surprised me when I saw the final product. However, it is tiny and should be OK with most people. The ring I received is beautiful and exactly what I wanted!”

“About the worst I can say is that my necklace was shipped in a box the size of a modest briefcase, but that's a pretty minor gripe. Everyone involved was very prompt and professional, and there isn't really anything about the process I can find to complain about. Ultimately I wound up with a quality pendent for about 1/5th the cost of what a few other places had quoted.”

But the people who helped me out all along the way gave constant updates and explanations that helped ease my anxiety along the way. And as a bonus the ring was beautiful!”

“The process was smooth and the end products was beautiful. Only thing I wish was more clear was the approximate timeline as it seemed to drag on for much longer than was originally discussed. The communication was also a bit slow and only seemed to progress when I reached out. However, the end product was gorgeous and looks amazing! Would definitely use again, but only when my timeline is less constrained.”

“My son has wanted a family crest signet ring for years. I did some research and took a shot with Custom Made. The deposit was a large amount but the person i dealt with was so thoughtful and informative i decided that they were a good bona fide business MADE IN AMERICA! They had tremendous patience as I modified that and that. The result was a perfect 18ct ring. They don’t know this but i have some earrings I’d like them to make for me. I can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“Ordered two pieces from CustomMade. The first was a ring and came out perfectly. The second was a pendant. The process with the pendant is ongoing. One thing i'd recommend on business end is for the initial quotation phase confer with the production team to verify the design can be done in accordance with the client's design prior to taking a deposit. I provided a deposit only to be told the font i want was not doable. Since the deposit isn't non-refundable, i had no choice to move forward with the piece. After receiving the piece, it was extremely small for the price point in my opinion. Although it was nicely done, i probably wouldn't have continued with the purchase. If there was a way to get the 3D printout of the piece prior to moving forward that would be helpful before finishing the piece. Obvisously the rendered sample would be returned. In any case, customer service is always spot on and communication during the process is great. It's obvious the brunt of the cost is for the labor so it's up to each individual to decide if their piece is worth the cost.”

“The design freedom and assistance during each step cannot be understated. No question, concern, or comment goes unanswered. Time for response can seem long, however there is no feeling in lack of communication. For individuals who require visualization, this is a perfect way to design. Exceptional 3D renderings are provided before manufacturing. The final product is extremely sturdy and the service after delivery sets this company apart.”
