“Pros: great way to sample cakes in your own home at your convenience. Carrot cake is the best tasting one Cons: not as flavourful as I would have expected for the price and compared to other cakes I have tried. For example the lemon needs more flavour”

“I was so looking forward to the cake as it looked beautiful online but unfortunately was disappointed. The pink layer was very sweet and did not taste fresh, the sponge was dry and the other layer had no flavour. We sadly had lots of leftover cake even from kids.”

“Bought these as a treat. Was expecting them to full of unique flavours. Where was the flavour? Certainly not here! They were dry and tasteless.I've had better macarons for much cheaper. Will not be purchasing again.”

“My sis in law (age 80+) needed a pick-me-up whilst getting over an illness that killed her sense of taste. Picked out 3 items to send in one delivery: the afternoon treat hamper, 12 no-nuts brownies, and raspberry lemonade. Ordered Sunday and it arrived next day on Monday morning. In Bristol!! 🥳 She was so happy to get these, not just for the thought, but the treats are of such great quality and not too sweet that they will tempt her to start eating more food again! I could not have wished for a better response. Thank you Annabel & Emily, I will be ordering again in the future. For myself!! 🥰”

“Strangely, my review didn't end up appearing and I am having to type this all over again. I would recommend purchasing a chocolate cake over the fruit cakes. The cake sponge was moist and paired well with the custard, crispy pearls and freeze fried strawberries but the strawberry buttercream was greasy and cloying. This made for an unpleasant combination so we scraped off the entire frosting on top of the cake and cut out the buttercream bits sandwiched between.”

“Cutter and Squidge not only failed to deliver a Christmas gift cake despite the order was made well in advance, but their customer service put the responsibility with the delivery company for the fail. Although the website gave me the option for a next day delivery for my postcode on certain cakes (I have the picture to prove this), which I chose and paid the express delivery fee, the cake never arrived despite countless calls and emails to the customer service and my efforts to speak to a manager was disregarded. As the cake was a Christmas gift, we had requested our hosting family to not get any desserts as we had ordered a cake which made this whole thing even embarrassing for us. I tried asking customer service immediately to send another cake to the address as a redemption to our hosting family for the mess and they refused to do that but instead offered a £20 credit note for next purchase despite me notifying them that I will close my account with them and not order again. If they provided correct information in their website and write a two day delivery instead a next day delivery option, I would have chosen another local option to save the hustle. Their customer service attitude was completely unacceptable to which I kindly noted that is was their responsibility until a product they sell gets to the final destination, the customer. Especially as this service was charged and paid well ahead of time. I expect nothing but the service they promote in the website, at the time stated, for the expense asked and if they can’t achieve that, then they are misinforming their clients and can’t comply with their own rules.”

“Had the mixed cookies from cutter and squidge about 3 years ago and there were so good. When I got a promotion at work last month I ordered these cookies as a reward and they were awful. Not sure if they changed the recipe or it was a bad batch, but I was very disappointed”
