“Nags for feedback - wont use again”

“Cake and tin were super cute and very tasty, but I felt the buttercream topping and filling was a bit sparse for the price, the topping particularly seemed scraped on as thinly as possible. Also for my palate the salted caramel was too much an overpowering butterscotch flavour, but could just be my taste!”

“First of all, thank you for the company for their beautiful cakes. Please allow me to be honest in my review: the cakes are tasty in fancy packaging, however, I feel they are not very good value for money. I feel that if they used less packaging, including unnecessarily wasteful paper sleeves and instead focused on giving bigger portions of the actual products it would be far better for their customers and the environment. The passion fruit and pistachio cake is really really small although it has a nice flavour and it is in a nice tin. I was honestly shocked when I received it. Same goes for the baby biskies. I bought it using a 50%-off Christmas voucher which made it a really reasonable deal as the products are delicious and well presented, however I don’t feel they are good value on full price. Nevertheless, I wish the company all the best”

“Not as good as the first time. I had raved about this cake to the family after buying it for a friend's birthday a few years ago. However, this cake was disappointing; there was absolutely no taste of salted caramel, the chocolate tasted cheap and tasted heavily of buttercream. Disappointing.”

“Tasted fantastic, but is actually tiny... I know I should have read the dimensions before ordering but I kind of just assumed that for the price it would be a normal size cake, but it could very easily fit in the palm of your hand 😅 That said, delivery was easy and arrived safely on Christmas Eve which was much appreciated for a Boxing Day birthday.”

“Having an afternoon tea delivered to your door was perfect. However, the mince pies weren’t good - dry mincemeat and tough pastry. The scones were delicious and the ginger cake very rich and kept for another day. The tea was good! I bought this on Black Friday- I’d never pay the full price !”

“I have had 2 boxes from C&S. The first box was really great so we looked forward to the second - but it was a disappointment. The brownies in the 2nd box were dry and tasteless. Have given 3/5 stars because of the mixed results.”

“It's quite a big cake so definitely enough to feed how many it says. The marshmallow was sooo good and not too sweet. It was delivered early morning which was great but the actual boxed was not sealed properly so the cake was basically open. Apart from that it was yummy.”
