“Tasted amazing!! Although expected the centre to be soft and unctuous, not the case disappointingly brick hard and unlike the advertising video we could not delve in with a spoon .”

“It is a beautiful cake but very dissapointed with taste - the top layer was very heavy and felt like melted butter/cream. One piece if enough. Good if you wanna take photos with lovely cake but taste wise dont recommend”

“Our own fault for not looking close enough, but a suggestion to reduce disappointment next time for someone else... please either a) change the default pic on the site to a box of 12, or b) make picture change as you change the option between 12 and 24.”

“Our vegan chocolate cake was very good but (especially for that price) it could have used more caramel and less of the light chocolate mousse-like frosting, which we ending up scraping off and wasting because that did not have as much enjoyable a taste to it. Please don't post this as I don't want to leave a bad rating and I love that you have vegan options. The cake itself was very good and the presentation was beautiful. I ordered this for my husband's birthday but the vegan lemon cheesecake he ordered for my birthday was definitely my preference. Hope this is useful!”

“I bought the afternoon tea for my brother for his birthday. He said it was ‘average’ and didn’t taste fresh. I was disappointed as I had hoped he would be pleased with his gift as he usually likes things like this :-(”

“I ordered a gift for my mum for Mother’s Day an afternoon tea. It was not delivered until the Wednesday after and that was only after several emails chasing it up. Beware. There was no indication on ordering it wouldn’t get there on time!”

“The cake was a mothers day gift and was delicious .. ( we heard!) so I thoroughly recommend the cake. However .. there was no mothers day message included which rather defeated the purpose of sending it ! We definitely added a message but at the checkout realised we couldn't add another cake to a different address so had to delete one cake which must have wiped the message. We had the £3.50 refunded but really Cutter and Squidge must have known the card was blank .. not great really this needs to be better.”

“Was ok most annoying thing was told three week before Mother’s Day I could not get it delivered on Friday or Saturday was told I,d left it very late then when I order what happens emails saying get it day before Mother’s Day when I asked got told could not change an existing order. Also for £30 not the best or even adequate afternoon tea very little for price but attitude of delivery most annoying.”
