“The cake arrived 2 days after its promised delivery date and so missed the birthday it was intended for. That was dissapointing .. reason given remote location! It would be helpfull to make it explicit on order and confirmation that the delivery date is not the actual delivery date.”

“I was so looking forward to the cake as it looked beautiful online but unfortunately was disappointed. The pink layer was very sweet and did not taste fresh, the sponge was dry and the other layer had no flavour. We sadly had lots of leftover cake even from kids.”

“I ordered a cake expecting it to arrive in time for my birthday as when I have previously ordered from Cutter and Squidge my cakes have always been delivered either the day before or on the morning of delivery. My cake arrived past 21:00 - well outside of the delivery window, and myself and my guests were left without a cake for my party. I actually called customer service the day before (I had to call twice as every time I reached number 1 in the call queue, the call ended itself for no apparent reason) as I was concerned due to the lack of communication regarding my delivery and they simply told me to wait until the courier contacted me. I understand that delivery is outside of the bakery's control but I am so incredibly disappointed at this entire experience. My cake had been sat in a van on a warm day for over twelve hours and arrived looking a little worse for wear before I was able to get it to the fridge. This is not the usual quality service I have experienced from C&S before”

“Apologies but the selection wedding cake was awful. They all tasted similar with only the carrot cake tasting fresh. The rest seemed stodgy and definitely not light and fluffy sponge. Almost frozen and the thick buttercream tasted similar for all. I have eaten from you previously hence the thought of having our wedding cake. “We have used cutter and squidge many times for birthday cakes however we recently moved outside in London. Very disappointed that they don’t deliver any of the really good cakes outside of London nor can you collect from a shop in London. So we ordered a small cake from the UK wide range but it was very disappointing compared to the wider range and definitely not worth the almost £30 price tag.”
