“Lovely drink but over priced. Found the same drink in Holland and Barratte a week after and it was less than half the price for a larger size”

“Hi team, we loved your service and delivery as well as your packaging - very well done! However, the cake in itself was quite hard, perhaps because of the gluten-free vegan nature of it. We didn’t enjoy it as much as your other cakes, like the lemon & blueberry one we ordered last year. Hope we can explore any new cakes you produce in the future. Best regards.”

Hi, Thank you for your review. We are sorry your experience with us didn’t match your expectations this time. We bake our products fresh daily, use all natural ingredients and make product quality a priority. The cake should be served at room temperature at which point the sponge should become light and fluffy and not be dry. We are not sure if you had stored it in the fridge, but this might explain the dry cake layers. “An afternoon Tea usually consists of cake, scones and sandwiches, so was a little disappointed that , considering the cost, there were no sandwiches! I must read the description more closely next time. Good packaging and delivery service tho.”

“The cake arrived very well packed so it was in perfect condition. The Victoria strawberry sponge was fairly small for the price and we found the buttercream very sweet but overall it was nice and the strawberry was a highlight (just wish it went all the way to the edge not just in the centre of the cake).”

“in general, the quality of cake is good. but the cone is too hard. It is a bit too sweet and too greasy. The cake box is not completed covered, which was very uncomfortable.”

“Nice cake, just very very sweet. The delivery always comes late in the evening which is quite annoying and you dont get text updates despite being told you would so you waste all day indoors waiting.”

“Chocolate eggs were nice but a little artificial-tasting and didn’t have any of the sauce it mentioned inside them. The presentation was disappointing as they just came in a box, so it wasn’t really a hamper as described. Pictures of this need to be included on the website.”

“The product was very good but sadly the Gift Card was missing - although the cost was refunded this was still a disappointment for a premium product. Leaving the recipient guessing who had sent it was not what we planned.”

“The Easter egg arrived when expected and communication was very good. Unfortunately the egg packaging had been damaged in transit so the visual impact was not very good. Lots of chocolate sprinkles had come loose inside and the egg looked a bit worse for wear. The fudge pieces looked dry and cracked. As to the taste the filled mini eggs on top were very thin shell with mostly nothing inside only a tiny amount of filling so mostly air inside. Not luxurious at all. The inside of the large egg was mostly biscuit crumbs so dry and dusty. The salted caramel was nice but again not very much in there and had to route to find it. The actual egg chocolate was ok. Nothing to really blow me away. In conclusion I would say I was so excited to order this premium Easter treat full of luxurious fillings but I was very disappointed with it all and it hasn’t even been finished.”
