“Very disappointed with cake. Not just the size but flavour wasn’t good nor texture. Half went in bin and for the price expected so much more for my daughter’s 18th birthday cake. Stupidly bought the tin too which is very basic and lid doesn’t even fit properly. Sorry but would not ever order from again or recommend. I never leave reviews but thought I had to for the disappointment factor and let down.”

Hi, I am sorry that the cake did not live up to you expectation, the cake is a small postable cake around 5.5" wide and should serve between 4-6 slices. We are currently working on a larger version but the packaging development takes time to be able to delivery it across the country. We make all of our cakes by hand and with the finest all natural ingredients. We value all of our customers and would love to find a solution to rectify the issue. Kindest, Annabel

“Not impressed, this afternoon tea was a gift from my sister. The food arrived well packed but the cakes tasted very metallic. After heating the scones I was ready to serve the cream and jam, the cream was off and not usable. So I was very disappointed with the whole experience.”

“Too sweet was not overall impressed with the cake. I had called previously was told the cake will not be too sweet. Whoever i spoke to didn't give a toss bare in mind this was for my birthday.”

“The product is fine. However since placing my order I have received 12 spam emails despite opting out. I opted out of marketing communications twice and emails the company directly to remove me from all comms and I’m still receiving daily emails. The brownies were for a friend and while I would have been inclined to use the company again I now just think it’s not worth all the unnecessary marketing spam they send.”

“Quite unsatisfied with my order, it’s the 3rd time I receive the wrong products. I reached out to the support team yesterday (no response yet) but not happy that it keeps happening That being said the products are quite good and tasty, if they could just get the order right…”

“Unfortunately, I found the cake disappointing, the sponge was very heavy and more like a madeira cake consistency instead of a Victoria Sponge. Didn't finish eating the cake as really didn't enjoy it.”

“Unfortunately I was really disappointed with my order. I ordered the Birthday bundle with some drinks and brownies, it was almost £40 with delivery so I thought this would be a really nice gift for a friend. It arrived in a huge box, which I sifted through only to find a tiny and measly-looking box of brownies. It felt underwhelming and like it definitely wasn't worth anywhere near what I had paid.”

“Pretty tasty and nicely packaged, arrived on time. A shame the scones were under baked and tasted of too much baking powder. I emailed but nobody replied. When I was asked for feedback because apparently it matters very much to you, I said the scones were undercooked and tasted bitter. You replied by saying this had never happened before and you wanted photos and that you hadn't had an email from me previously. Not sure that's the best way to handle feedback, especially if you're asking for it. Will probably use someone else in future.”
